Personally, I found this rather stupid. Its set up was fine, they have to report on an event about Ivo, Lois wants to report on more serious matters when they are there for a more interest piece - this would be fine if it was followed up on by the end.
When they go to the event their is a bit of a pointless bit with Jimmy, which was neither charming, or interesting. Clark is apprehensive about Lois' plan, but then quickly confronts Ivo when he gets out of hand, which is fine.
After Clark gets kicked out, him and Lois has a bit a moment, which seems sweet, but gets under cut quickly, as Lois interrupts him when he is about to tell her his secret, I found this to be ridiculous, quickly cutting him off for no reason, he is clearly going to tell her something - and cuts him off to vent, which she wasn't working up to in a major way - it undercuts the scene, and just feels contrived.
Then Ivo turns WAY TOO QUICKLY. Ivo just attacks people in the presentation, clearly he would be going to prison for this. Also his design sucks as Parasite, and his powers aren't the same, which is such a stupid when that is his most defining aspect, calling him Parasite is so bizarre now, like that is such a horrible brand name, and has very little to do with its capabilities.
