I watched this when it was first released in 2011. It's now 2019 and Alex still pops into my head. The reason I'm writing this review is because I heard a song today (Everywhere by Fleetwood Mac) which meant something to Alex and his partner and because this film had such a massive impact on me I'll always think of him and his story when I hear it. I can't express how well made this film is and it will take you on a wave of emotions from pure joy to utter heartache. I can saftly say this is the best documentary film that I've ever seen. Alex and this film will stay with me for the rest of my life. And I think that says enough about why you should watch this film...
