Careless Love is a ten minute short which was shot over the course of a single day. Its content was influenced by a Rainer Werner Fassbinder play about a woman who poisons her husband, brother and lover. This one follows a similar basic template but amends it so that it is a little more disturbing if anything. Like the vast majority of films this length it is quite limited overall with not enough time to develop too many details but unlike most, it actually at least had a sense of purpose and made for an enjoyable little macabre sketch. Sort of like one of Dulcie Grey's dark short stories brought to life on screen. It also clearly benefits from the presence of the beautiful Jane Asher in the pivotal role of the psychologically disturbed woman.
