Back in May, we brought you the news when lead actor, Hugh Jackman dropped the news that filming would commence on The Wolverine, directed by James Mangold in August, with the film slated to hit theaters next July.
Now, Shh reports that Tao Okamoto has joined the cast as Mariko, and Rila Fukushima will portray Yukio. Additionally, Variety reports that Brian Tee (Roswell FM) and Will Yun Lee (Total Recall) have been cast in the 20th Century Fox production as a couple of baddies. Will Yun Lee will portray Kenuichio Harada (aka The Silver Samurai), and Brian Tee will play Noburo Mori, a “corrupt minister of justice”.
Also added to the cast are Hiroyuki Sanada (Lost, The Last Samurai) as Shingen, and Hal Yamanouchi (Push, Sinbad of the Seven Seas) as Yashida.

[1] The ubiquitous Michael Fassbender will be joining fellow Irishmen Gabriel Byrne, Colin Farrell, Cillian Murphy and Domhnall Gleeson in Brendan Gleeson's directorial debut, a big-screen adaptation of Flann O'Brien's classic novel At Swim-Two-Birds. The project has been a long time in the works -- Gleeson initially acquired the book rights seven years ago -- but it seems to finally be picking up steam thanks to some new financers. Shooting is scheduled to begin next spring. First published in 1939, At Swim-Two-Birds is considered one of the greatest examples of metafiction ever written. Brian Tee ("The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift") and Don Stark ("That 70's Show") have joined the cast of indie romantic comedy "Roswell FM" reports Variety.
The comedy centers around a UFO-themed radio station in Roswell, New Mexico. Tee will play the role of a quirky caller and eventual talk show host while Stark will portray the station owner with a penchant for buying alien and paranormal artifacts.

[1] Slumdog Millionaire and Skins star Dev Patel is the latest actor to join the cast of Aaron Sorkin's HBO pilot More As This Story Develops. The story revolves around a cable news anchor named Will McCallister (Jeff Daniels) and his executive producer Mackenzie (Emily Mortimer) as they attempt to get their show back on track after a massive staff shake-up. Alison Pill, Sam Waterston, Olivia Munn, John Gallagher Jr., Thomas Sadoski and Josh Pence [2] are also signed on to star. Few details have been given on Patel's character, but it is said that he will be "a series regular who works at the channel."
