Exclusive: Actor and producer Parvinder Shergill will lead Break a Leg, a British indie feature set in the world of drama schools.
In the mockumentary, Shergill will play Jazzy, a woman competing with her drama student counterparts to land a deal with the agent of her dreams to fulfil her Christmas wish. The question is how far she’ll go to win.

Shergill is the co-writer and co-creator, and is producing for her Pinder Productions label, with Gia Bariah from Harrik Publishing and Productions co-producing. Juggy Sohal, who made the Itvx short Kaur and upcoming film Touché with Shergill, is the other co-writer and co-creator.
Earlier this year, Shergill was unveiled as a lead and producer on Touché, another British indie film, opposite Sanditon‘s Kayleigh-Paige Rees and Harry Potter actor Matthew Lewis. It’s now in post-production.
