Mild spoilers for the previous episodes.
After the Ninjago have defeated Lloyd's plans again, he moves on to another Serptine tribe, determined to make them his henchmen. The Ninja are faced with a riddle, and a long trek ahead of them in order to find the answer.
This episode was rather boring compared to the first three. I didn't personally enjoy it. The dreamscape at the start of the episode was rather well done, and it was enjoyable, but a lot of it was mostly trying to figure out the riddle that Sensei left with the Ninjago, and it was rather infuriating. Not much happened this episode - other than a humorous ending, and it was rather aggravating that the riddle was so simple, and what the episode was all about. Foreshadowing was everywhere, and it amazes me that I didn't manage to figure it out.
This episode seems to bring to a close the story line of the first four episodes, with an ongoing plot of the Serpentine, but it doesn't make me want to watch on and keep going. It doesn't really do it's job.
There was a lot about this episode that could have been done better, and it saddens me to see that this episode didn't live up to it's full potential. The director missed a lot that could have been done with this episode, and considering this one doesn't make me, personally, want to go on and watch more, it might have been a better idea for the director to do more than they did for this one.
A shame, I was really starting to enjoy this series. Hopefully, this is just one bad episode, and not a reflection of how the series is going to go from now on.
