The documentary follows Rodney Bonnifield, one of the many people who have claimed to be DB Cooper. Some elements of his version of events differ significantly from accepted facts of the case. For instance, everyone involved in NORJACK stated Cooper was in his 40s, but Bonnifield was only 19 on November 24 1971.
In the diner scene between the young Bonnefield and Ramona, set in the early 1970's, an 'inverted' ketchup bottle (the kind with the cap/spout on the bottom) can be seen on the counter. These were invented in 2002.
In the golf course scene, set in the early 1970's, the young Bonnefield bends to tee his ball, revealing the Calvin Klein-branded band of his underwear. The company started making underwear in 1982.
