Mandy Moore's perfomance as old Rebecca Pearson is just impressive and unfrogettable.
elliottremblay20 April 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Once again, This Is Us delivered a moving and powerful written episode. Mandy Moore is simply amazing in her role. Rarely have I seen a lead actress play an older woman for as long as she does throughout the series. Her performance during her performance at the wedding almost brought me to tears, I literally felt the emotions of each character as they are all so well developed and complex. To be able to interpret an elderly person suffering from advanced Alzheimer's, it amazes me to the highest degree. Finally, Randall's speech was amazing and I think everyone can appreciate how to the point and how well written it was. This show is going perfectly and I can't help but applaud Folgeman and the other showrunner. I can't wait to see the last 5 episodes of this well-crafted and enormous love story.

We all cried
strawberry-6050220 April 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I cried for like 42 minutes and I'm not ashamed

I love how the writers were trying to prepare us for the finale... for Rebecca's final chapter. I thought this episode would be all about Kate and Phillip and how will they navigate their new life together at their wedding, but it was all about our favorite character-our precious Rebecca. I feel like I was ready to see Jack more in Rebecca's memories the minute I found that Rebecca is suffering from Alzheimer's, but certainly I was not prepared for him to walk in there and sit with Rebecca in her room in Kate's wedding. It was devastating to watch. I am going to place a delivery for tissue boxes in preparation for the finale, anyone?

Rebecca and Miguel...Awesome
marymcfarland-0186621 April 2022
Warning: Spoilers
The best thing about this episode was Rebecca and Miguel. Rebecca mistaking Kevin for Jack was so sad, and poor Miguel just moving along knowing it will ultimately be like his time with Rebecca never existed was just heartbreaking. That part of the episode was so compelling, I pretty much forgot there was a wedding.

Wow! The theme song
jeanna-421 April 2022
Warning: Spoilers
What a wonderful episode, heartbreaking, nostalgic, and so moving. Mandy Moore gave such an amazing performance. Pay close attention to the song Rebecca sings in the end. It's the theme song!!

While I'm not a huge fan of the Katoby break up, I still really love all the characters and I'm so invested! Which of the 3 women, if any of them was Kevin with??? I don't want this show to end. It's sooo good!

One of the Best Episodes Ever
laurablack-0147620 April 2022
This is Us has consistently provided excellent scripts, direction and acting but this episode is one of the best, starting with an excellent performance by the entire cast, with Mandy Moore leading the way. I'm not looking forward to the end of this amazing series, but I have truly enjoyed it.

One of the best episodes of television of I've ever
stan-6876420 April 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Not just the of the show, of television as a whole. I mean it. One of the best episodes I've ever seen. They time hopped, seems to be about 6-7 years ahead. Randall is called Senator, and we see Kates blind soon as one of the ring bearers and he appears 7-8 years old. Incredible how they implemented everything. Rebecca is much worse now, and before you understand the time hop it's slightly confusing seeing how bad she is. Things and life are speeding up and going by fast, as Randall says in the end, and all we can really do is just dance.

Great episode!
JenBisMe25 April 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Beth and Madison cracked me right up! Those dresses they had on... gorgeous!

I thought Kate looked lovely. Although find them a strange couple.

This show really gets raw and truthful about so many things. It's such a great show. One of the best I have ever watched.

Go "Big 3". You will he missed.

Where were Randall and Beth's children during this episode...? Did I miss something? I noticed at the end when they were dancing.

It was a good episode but...
saifeliya21 April 2022
Warning: Spoilers
It's heart warming as usual Mandy Moore's acting is on point as usual also .

One thing I felt was pushed on us ... The song .. coming from a person who uses the theme song as a ringtone I felt that they pushed the song on us specially when Kate said (correct me if I'm wrong) that this song is Rebecca's melody and she's been playing this her whole life etc .. why do we get to hear it only 6 seasons later ? They should've at least put it in Earlier episodes so I could connect more emotionally with it . Otherwise very good episode as always.

One more thing .. I liked the thing between Madison and Beth investigating what Kevin did the Day before . Can't wait to find out next week .

The mystery continues
meyersjl-959-17933628 April 2022
This Kate based episode is enjoyable. It provides more information and concludes the Katoby episode. Great writing by interspersing the mystery of Kevin's future wife.

Those Bridesmaid's Dresses...OMG!!!
setgetsiin20 April 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Please please let this review come thru: Where to find that material of Beth's Bridesmaid's dress...!! I guess I'll have to look at Re double D it and ask there too.

That very silly comment out of the way: No woman looks better with short hair. Ever. Do women look great in short hair? Yes. Many of them. However, all woman (and dare I say men) look better with long hair. I cannot find one single person in real life or in media that looks better with short hair. So why do women do this?? Ugh, makes me crazy, esp since I started losing my hair in my 30s. No, hair does NOT always 'just grow back.' I'm talking about both genders.

Men marry women hoping they WON'T change. Women marry men hoping that they WILL change. Never works.

This episode had those undercurrents all the way thru. I find it incredibly impressive that underneath all the very serious and amazing creme de la creme storylines, they managed to talk about other (very serious at the time) storylines and common arguments. Like men and children hating it when Mommy cuts her hair. Silly but so true!

I had a grandparent with Alzheimer's and I inherited the gene for it. This episode really hit me in the Real Lifes and Feels. Maybe that's why I'm focusing on clothing and base common situations vs the Major Theme.

Not going to lie, I think this show overrates a certain group of people, but I have loved it from the start and am lamenting GREATLY its departure. I'm hoping for many spin offs.

Again: Where can I find that material from those dresses??? I love you Beth. There, I said it.

Great episode but
sherrymcmullan22 April 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Where were Randall's girls? Did I miss something?

I love this show and I'm really not ready for it to end. I will probably start watching it all over again at some point.

Alzheimer's is such a cruel disease - I lost my dad to it so I cried like a baby at Rebecca's confusion. I truly hope Mandy Moore is recognised for her powerful performance.

Great to see a lighter side to Beth though - she's usually so pained and full of angst about something or other.

And I was very happy to see the Big 3 finally showing some love to Miguel.

Boring, clichéd, predictable.
barnsleylad494921 April 2022
This was a very disappointing episode. It dragged and was boring. I have to laugh at people who allegedly cried at this episode. It was full of clichés and so predictable. If this is a hint of the final episode I sure hope the writers get better.

Good
ccddmm133 March 2024
Warning: Spoilers
Beth and Madison were supper funny. Where were Randall's girls though? At the end of the previous season we could see them trying the dresses. A small detail that they weren't at the wedding??? And also why is this the first time we hear Rebecca's song if it was a family melody according to Kate? I thought she was gonna play the same song as the one she plays when she's out with Jack Having dinner or the one she was singing when they met. It's little details that we viewers can see because it goes back and forth so much that we remember the details. Overall it was good. I'm worried about Miguel.

Good filler episode
filmducky21 April 2022
This was a good filler episode. Shows the wedding day (5-6 years from the katoby episode). We get to see where everyone is both physically and mentally. Good acting, some emotional scenes but leaves me wanting more. The katoby episode goes through a lot more raw emotions and tugs at my heart strings but this episode had none of those.

Overall good episode to setup a hopefully great finale but nothing more.

Kate Deserves Better
shelbythuylinh25 April 2022
Warning: Spoilers
She does but still despite Chris Sullivan being a great actor and however his Toby always put Kate down. Chrissy Metz is the breakout star on the show there.

Her character of Kate deserves better as really Phillip I was a bit skeptical at first but glad she found a better man despite it being a rough meeting for both of them to begin with in hopefully smooth sailing.

But it is about the older Rebecca's Dementia as she wants to sing and would be herself albeit for a brief time for her only daughter getting remarried.

Kevin may be the father of twins but he needs to end on a happy note for the hapless actor. As next episode as he is opened to love. Really the guy can't catch a break.
