As the great Vanessa Hudgens once said in the 2008 hit single “Sneakernight,” “Basically, what .” Netflix is certainly home to the world of dance, with everything from Tiny Pretty Things to Dance Monsters readily available. And it’s turning the world of dance competitions on its head with Dance 100, a new series that transforms the choreographers into the contestants and the dancers into the judges. Whether you’re in the mood to watch jamming to fresh beats, ballet dancers solving murder mysteries or drag queens dealing with dance moms, there’s a dance show just waiting for you to hit play. Basically, what we’re gonna do is read this list!

Netflix’s new competition series could’ve been called So You Think You Can Dance… Next to 100 Other People Who’ll Determine Your Longevity in This Show.
Dance 100, a 6-episode, hour-long show, was released today and pits eight choreographers against each other for an ultimate prize of $100,000. Ally Love already wears quite a few hats: Peloton instructor and global lead of instructor strategic initiatives, “Courtside Conversations” podcast host and producer, Adidas global ambassador, Brooklyn Nets in-arena host, model, “Love Squad” founder and CEO, to name a few. But the social media and dance personality has a new title – competitive game show host – to add to the list.
Love, a former Knicks City Dancer, is hosting Netflix’s “Dance 100,” where dancers get the power in a show that is looking for the best choreographer. Now streaming, the show spotlights eight choreographers competing for a $100,000 prize. The judges? A group of 100 dancers.
Hailing from Miami, Love now lives in New York City, where she graduated from Fordham University in partnership with the Ailey School for dance. Despite her earned status as a fitness guru with Peloton, Love’s younger self could never have imagined that title. Love spoke...

It’s perversely fitting that we’re kicking off this Dance 100 preview with a poorly timed step: As TVLine’s recent Zoom interview with Ally Love began, we couldn’t wait to talk about the Netflix competition’s painful first elimination with one of the few people who already knew the episode’s outcome. After all, Love — best known as a Peloton fitness instructor — hosts the upcoming show, so there was no way we could spoil her… right?
Well, yes. But when we mentioned the name of the first choreographer booted from the series, which premieres Friday, Love’s eyes got wide.

In the past year, Netflix has changed its mind about almost all of its most fundamental tenets; from adding advertising to cutting back on password-sharing, things are undoubtedly changing for the world’s largest streaming service. One arena where Netflix has also changed its long-held beliefs is in regards to live programming, with the streamer airing its first live event with a brand-new stand-up special from Chris Rock over the weekend. The special, entitled “Chris Rock: Selective Outrage,” drew enough viewers to place it among the top 10 shows in the United States on the streaming service, all but ensuring Netflix will continue to explore live events.

With the sleepy release months of January and February behind us, the time has come to enter March, where a deluge of exciting titles await. Prepare for the much-anticipated return of fan-favorite TV series: everything from "The Mandalorian" and "Ted Lasso" to "Succession" and "Yellowjackets." Even "Riverdale" is on the way back, if that's the kind of chaos that you're into! But enough about other streaming services — what's going on over at Netflix, the Og spot for a weekend binge?
The streamer has recently revealed their release slate, detailing everything to come in March 2023 and there's a lot going on. For one thing, they've somehow managed to produce yet another season of "Love Is Blind," an often painful-to-watch dating reality series where terrible decisions are made and basically nothing good ever happens. Netflix has been going hard on the reality front for a while now, something that certainly isn't slowing down,...
