When the girls are heading out in the car for the first time, Malin Ackerman's character is adamant that they play a tape from the 80s. The tape she chooses is "The Return of Bruno" by Bruce Willis and a small sample of his cover of "Respect Yourself" is heard. Bruce Willis of course plays Mel, their boss, in the movie.
The end credits show a copyright date of 2005, however it wasn't released until 2011.
Kate Mara dropped out of the movie and was replaced by Nikki Reed.
Lizzy Caplan dropped out of the project and Deborah Ann Woll was cast as Dawn.
The film has scenes shown out of sequence as well as some dialogue and camera shots that are all reminiscent of "Pulp Fiction". Bruce Willis appears in both movies.
