Having never met Dustin Mills, I still think I’m supposed to like him. The writer, director, actor, editor, special effects man and composer of Zombie A-Hole is no doubt a fan of Mr. Kevin Smith, a self-promotion wizard. For example, witness Mr. Mills responding to individual fans on Zombie A-Hole’s Facebook page. With one feature already under his belt (The Puppet Monster Massacre), Mills likely subscribes to the shoe-string sets’ way of churning out feature after feature hoping for the one that hits big, or sparks a fanbase that sticks around. Zombie A-Hole is a valiant effort, full of indiscriminate, copious nudity, gratuitous slow motion, gore, gunfire, and featuring an auto-tuned Southern-tinged rock intro. What more do you want? How about a running time that’s not an unconscionable 108 minutes?

You gotta' hand it to the producers of the hilarious film "The Puppet Monster Massacre", released July 2011, with its 'Muppets' looking clones that spare no ludicrous attempt to homage horror movies.
Created by writer/director Dustin Mills and a small ragtag crew of actors and puppeteers, Mills will string his fans along for "PMM2", but won't keep them hanging for very long, as he kick-starts a campaign to raise "PMM2" funding that you can be a part of @ indiegogo.com/The-Puppet-Monster-Massacre-2-Zombunny-Apocalypse.
"We have big plans for "PMM2", said Mills, "badder, better, and sexier than the first, with more puppet nudity and foul language..."
Cast of "PMM2" will include Steve Rimpici, Bart Flynn, Shawn C. Phillips, Sarah Swofford, Robbie Rist and a host of celebrity cameos.

*full disclosure: a screener of this film was provided by Gravitas Ventures.
Director/writer: Dustin Mills.
Cast: Steve Rimpici, Jessica Daniels and Bart Flynn.
Experimental movie-making and puppet theatre could not get any more stranger with The Puppet Monster Massacre. This horror comedy product comes from the mind of writer, director and actor Dustin Mills. He takes the early style from "South Park" and mixes it up with the production reminiscent of 80’s "Sesame Street." Appropriately enough, the vintage vibe Mills is going for shows.
In this film, Mills manages to make a running gag out of the movies from that era, and keep it going fairly strong. This product is certainly the most unique piece of B-cinema performance art to come out a long time. Who would have thought that a horror movie could be made with nothing but puppets? There are no true scares, but the twisted humour Mills uses somewhat works.

Been jonesing for a new splatter-filled puppet flick ever since Meet the Feebles? Filmmaker Dustin Mills may have the fix you've been waiting for. The Puppet Monster Massacre will begin spilling felt all over DVD shelves this July.
"A group of teens are challenged to spend a night in the Wagner mansion on the edge of town. Little do they know the owner (Dr. Wolfgang Wagner) has concocted a monstrosity in the basement and plans to make the hapless teens the creature's first big meal. This is The Puppet Monster Massacre, a wild and raucous love letter to the monster films of the glorious 1980's! Heads will roll and felt will fly in this visually rich splatter-fest. Thrill as an army of over 400 soldiers is helpless against a monstrous menace. Chill as a man collapses from the aroma of a thousand bunny farts. Shriek as puppets make sweet monkey love in a spooky graveyard.
