The year 2013 has started moderately well with the release of some quality albums from bands such as Foals, The Courteeners and Frightened Rabbit. But we are still left waiting for that one album that truly blows everything else out of the water – that one album you can’t wait to hear live at a gig or festival. The answer to these hopes may well be answered in the Spring as four big artist’s gear up to release new records.

Jarvis Cocker has celebrated today's closure of the News of the World by using its final edition as toilet paper onstage at T In The Park. The 47-year-old was performing with Pulp at the Scottish festival today when he shared with the crowd his thoughts on the notorious Sunday tabloid, which was axed this week following a spate of hacking allegations.
