At least this season has been put out of our misery
Thank god it's over. Season 5 was a waste of 80% of the air time.
It took 20 episodes (since 4.13) to get Taylor out of our lives. And what was the purpose of the cheating kiss? Just to unleash Toxic Lucy upon the 118? All the scenes AK and KR bragged about poking and flirting seemed to disappear. Can we just say backlash must have been caustic and shocking to the bubble head writers & showrunner? When it ended up being a weak ethics case to finally get Buck to realize clingy isn't necessary for his happiness or appetizing to viewers. Get him back in therapy so he can emotionally mature and reach his professional maturity.
Eddie came so far and RG was above and beyond most other actors on the show. Now KR will try to figure out how to keep him and the wonderful Gavin buried out of the picture. I imagine with all the crap going on "off-screen" we might see Chris' graduation some day.
Chim was definitely missed - why was he sent into limbo - dumbest decision of the season and there were some other real beauts!
Bobby and Athena weren't around much - actors choice - but they're the rudder - TIm started out with them designed as the anchors and it showed that they weren't around to offer much stability.
Hen and Karen were barely there until the end. What a waste of amazing talent.
JLH was written off for good reason but bringing her back seemed to be a little quick - not very realistic- but that's KR for you.
Loved Mays growth and her friendship with Eddie and Linda was a nice touch. Missed Sue - would have liked to miss Josh a little more.
This so- called finale was filler - hurry up - how do we end this mess?? Even the post interviews sounded more like escape plans then true pride of work. A couple cute scenes but did we really need 10 min of the couple's life story and a 3 min vow renewal! And your lack of continuity between front and rear seating views were so bad. You made a point to show from the front Lucy sitting next to Buck but she was no where to be seen from the rear view.
Disappointing just like the rest of the season. Please get some good writers that understand continuity and staff that can remember Buck already had Ali Martin as a GF. Taylor Kelly Martin was one Martin too many.
And Abby part deux - Lucy - is one older woman too many. Or you need a lot better makeup people. After comparing ratings from other years you need to get someone on board that can fix this mess. No reason for this crash before many more seasons. Change management is a real thing. Learn it!
