The Cinema Snob: The Black Six
The Cinema Snob (2009)
"The Black Six"
In this now long-running series, writer-director Brad Jones play the title character, the Cinema Snob, a mainstream or high art critic who decides to review some of the most notoriously bad movies ever made. Since the original episode this series has grown to have a very high cult following and fans from around the world.
The Cinema Snob takes a look at THE BLACK SIX, a weird blaxploitation film that featured six NFL players going up against some redneck bikers. The Snob starts off with a funny bit about those $1 DVDs that everyone used to love to look thru and more often than not they were edited versions of movies. After taking a look at the Diamond release we move onto the actual picture where the Snob is in fine form as he jokes about the poor acting and lousy editing. This episode features some pretty good jokes throughout but the highlight is certainly the jokes about the rather silly ending, which confuses most people.
