During a seemingly innocent role-playing game, Bill, his opinionated girlfriend, and two of their friends engage in a heated conversation about science-fiction, race, and social agendas. Before long, things get from bad to worse--and what is even more disheartening--none of the players seems ready to make up his mind and pick a character: should they choose an elf, a human, a vampire, or something else? Then, a beautiful and open-minded girl, Melissa, tries to help Bill shed his dead weight, as Bill--who couldn't care less about rap--keeps losing friends. In the end, is rap music pushed by the record companies? Will the abuse of the English language ever stop? Above all, is there a difference between percussion and expression?
