Alicia again faces her nemesis, Louis Canning, when the firms old business partner Jonas Stern unexpectedly dies. The big surprise is that Canning had only recently bought Stern's firm. The case involve poor working conditions at an Internet firm and Lockhart Gardner uncover evidence that the poisoned workplace atmosphere may be part of a larger plan. In the election race, Peter Florrick is ahead by 3 points in the polls with only six days until voting day. Eli Gold warns all of his staffers to watch what they say and do but he wasn't counting on the Democratic committee handing Wendy Scott-Carr an issue. They have foolishly brought suit against her claiming she lacks residency in the State but Eli realizes it will only make her look like David to their Goliath. Meanwhile, a journalist has her hands on Kalinda's secret and also the fact that Peter is trying to keep Alicia from finding out about it.
