- "Anyone who has been on the verge of madness and has not succumbed to that abyss, is saner than they think". This is a story of love, forgiveness, and about how listening to their inner selves marked the lives of 3 friends, who met at the height of their respective professions, and their transit through life for 20 years. Three women empowered despite living great disappointments in love and human relationships. Transformed by love, forgiveness, and the sorority among friends who feel and suffer but who enjoy their friendship to the fullest despite the great economic challenges experienced while living in normal but tempestuous marriages, with infidelity, sexual harassment, and special children. It's the story of how the catastrophic event in Frances' life is supplanted by the celebration, year after year, of a better event: Anna's birthday every Memorial Weekend. Friends who inspire Anna to coin the phrase that united them for all eternity. Friends who learned that it is possible to forgive and forget. Friends that challenge their destinies and realized that their lives are tied to an internal and external force, to an abyss and a reality at the same time; forces that allow them to forge a path in which interaction with our loved one, whether they are called family or friends, leave and indelible mark. Having lived between the abyss and reality these friends always choose to jump from the abyss to reality when that Memorial weekend ceased to be just a weekend to become Anna's memory.
