Learn more- It's guilty pleasure night on "Dancing with the Stars," which just kind of feels like it was 10 seasons in the making. Even before the formal introductions, the guilty pleasures begin with Hanson stopping by to perform "MmmBop," with Tony and Lacey joining members of the "DWTS Troupe."
Kirstie & Maks: Kirstie had a moment last week, but still landed in the middle of the pack. She's dancing a samba to Britney Spears' "Hit Me Baby One More Time." Maks assures us this will be the beginning of their push to the final. Kirstie is worried during the week that she's over-thinking each dance. With a little more confidence, Kirstie says she's aiming for 9s. Head judge Len Goodman says Kirstie hasn't fulfilled the potential he saw in her from Week 1, until now. Bruno Tonioli asks her to hit him one more time, and that she made a difficult dance look easy. He says her "wiggly bum sent shockwaves through the airwaves." Carrie Ann Inaba agrees that Kirstie is back and she wants to see more of this kind of dancing from her. Scores: 8, 9, 9. Total: 26
Chris & Cheryl: Chris lands Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'" as his guilty pleasure song, and he has to dance a tango. Cheryl says during the week that she isn't going to take it easy on him now because they're so close to the final. Bruno knocks Chris for losing timing "so many times" and being unable to perform after a couple of critical slip-ups. Carrie Ann, who thinks Bruno was being harsh, says she agrees and that it seemed like the pressure got to Chris this week. "It wasn't exciting and it wasn't passionate," she says. Len disagrees that Chris was having an off night, but does go along with it lacking "a bit of intensity, but overall I think you did an excellent job." Scores: 7, 8, 7. Total: 22
Romeo & Chelsie: After a solid week, Romeo gets "My Heart Will Go On" by Celine Dion for his guilty pleasure song. He says he was 8 when he saw "Titanic" and that after seeing it he became "a hopeless romantic." Romeo wants a spot on top of the leader board, and Chelsie is going to make him work for it. Carrie Ann says that "magic happens" every once in a while in a season and notes, "That was magical." Len says Romeo dances with great maturity for such a young man. He calls it "a very, very touching and poignant performance." Bruno says Romeo achieved a new level of poise and finesse. Scores: 10, 9, 9. Total: 28
Chelsea & Mark: Mark is struggling to get Chelsea to tap into a competitive side. She says she just wants everybody to get along. So he engages her in a water fight and she finally gets into winning. She gets "Walking on Sunshine" by Katrina and the Waves, and they have to dance a quickstep. Len says it was "high energy, with control," and despite a couple of minor issues he thinks it was "full on and great fun." Bruno also points out a very minor flaw, but agrees it was a great performance. Carrie then says, "Sometimes magic happens -- twice!" Scores: 10, 9, 9. Total: 28
Kendra & Louis: After bouncing back from a poor week, Kendra is ready to shake everyone thing God (and maybe a plastic surgeon) gave her with a samba to Ricky Martin's "Livin' La Vida Loca." Her performance tested Len's heart condition as she ended by jumping up onto the judges' table to shake everything a bit more. Carrie Ann was still trying to recover after seeing "lots of information." She says Kendra can "shake it like no other." Len says she fulfilled one of his guilty pleasures and finally says, "last week we had a spark, this week we had a fire." Bruno calls it the revenge of the stripper, then lays down on the table and invites Kendra to lay on top of him. Scores: 8, 8, 9. Total: 25
Hines & Kym: The reigning "DWTS" MVP gets Boyz II Men's "End of the Road" for guilty pleasures week and admits that he loves singing to the song. He says he sings it in the shower and pretends the sound of the water rushing around him is the sound of his fans. Len tells Hines he's becoming the "most valued partner" and despite being a bit flat footed, he's "second to none." Bruno calls the dance "pure pleasure from start to finish." He says Hines' chemistry with Kym is amazing. Carrie Ann says it was amazing, but she thought she saw Hines thinking a little too much about the dance as it was happening. Scores: 9, 9, 9. Total: 27
Ralph & Karina: After landing in a three-way tie for the bottom, Ralph is ready to move up with a paso doble set to the music of C&C Music Factory's "Gonna Make You Sweat." In an attempt to help Ralph tap into feeling sexy, Karina works in a little "wax on, wax off" pose. Karina slips during the early part of the routine and they both seem to have a little trouble getting back into it. Tom tells them they made a great recovery. Bruno says he "started to feel the fire" despite the "incident." "Once you got back on it, there was no stopping you," he adds. Carrie Ann says Mr. Myagi would be proud of him. She says it's tough to get back up and she did it well. Len congratulates Ralph on pulling Karina up and getting her back into the routine. "I'm proud of you, and you should be proud of yourself," he says. Scores: 8, 8, 8. Total: 24
