This is the only documentary to date EVER done about the fans of the Jam Band Culture. It follows the fans of Widespread Panic as they travel to Europe to see their favorite band , whom usually perform in front of tens of thousands of people. In Europe the crowd sometimes numbered less than 100. This is a very cool insight into how rabid the fans are for a band that most of the world has never heard of. It is the last time that the original guitarist and founder Michael Houser is able to perform and interact with his fans like he used to when they were just a bar band. Out of AThens Georgia Widespread Panic is a part of the musical culture of AThens putting them in the same era as R.EM. and The B52's. They hold records for selling out more concerts at Red Rocks Amphitheater, Colorado, and in 1998 broke the world record for the largest CD release party in the world. This is a band that relies on live improvisational concerts instead of radio hits to bring in more money than most top one hundred billboard band year after year.
