Except for episodes #2 (Guild) and #10 (Goodbye Days), the closing credits contain a tableau with nearly all the featured characters appearing together. The camera up to this point had panned back with characters appearing one or two at a time. Some characters never changed their body positions while others did, sometimes standing on the other side of the screen from where they previously stood. Until this final episode, Yuri - who was always the first to appear - has always been standing with eyes closed as if asleep, thinking of something pleasant, or simply at peace; Angel never appeared with the group. Now, several significant changes are in place: The tableau starts with the full group of characters in wide shot, panning in rather than out (almost running in reverse order but not quite). Yuri is laughing for the first and only time, and, for the first time as well, Angel is part of the group picture. As the camera pans in, the characters begin disappearing one or two at a time, representative of when they left the afterlife (but not in exact order) - and symbolic as well of audiences leaving these character they've come to know in short time. Even though Yuri had been the first to appear in all other tableaus (suggesting she's the key character), she's not the last to go in this reversed order. Three others remain, then two, then finally... the one who, in the final minutes, considers staying behind in the afterlife.
