In a short film entitled The Blitzen Trapper Massacre, actor Rainn Wilson attempts to join Blitzen Trapper. Rainn Wilson is a really big fan of indie-rockers Blitzen Trapper. In fact, his fandom is so obsessive that it's led to murderous impulses that would even frighten Dwight Schrute. That's if you believe the contents of this new, oddball short film anyway. In The Blitzen Trapper Massacre, Wilson does his best to join the group of folksy, Pacific Northwesterners, but upon facing rejection, he's compelled to commit a few heinous acts of violence. Now that you mention it, he certainly has the facial hair of a mad man. The clip culminates in Wilson performing a bloody version of the band's song "Furr." I am actually getting this news up before watching it, because I think this is something that all Rainn Wilson fans will enjoy (especially if you follow him on Twitter). Wilson is hilarious and, in this short film that premiered at SXSW, we get to see a dark and creepy side to that humor. What’s awesome is, that for the next week, we get to watch the short, The Blitzen Trapper Massacre, for free online!
