As their recent online remarks clearly show, there’s no love lost between The Challenge castmates Laurel Stucky and Wes Bergmann.
Monsters and Critics reported about Wes’ recent comments that Laurel is “not good” at The Challenge regarding her entertainment value or growth over her seasons.
While she’s won several seasons, Wes also suggested she wouldn’t be good at competing on the show if she were the same size as most of her female castmates.
His remarks arrived during a podcast with his rival-turned-friend, former castmate Johnny Bananas, who strongly defended his friend and Season 40 castmate.
Despite that, Wes continued to point out how Laurel has had “opportunities” to showcase growth throughout her time on The Challenge, but he hasn’t “seen it” occur.
After fans mentioned Wes’s criticisms and comments to Laurel on social media, she fired back with some thoughts of her own.

The Challenge fans came together to mourn the elimination of Goat Ct Tamburello in the most recent episode. In response, MTV gifted them what they referred to as a “deleted” scene from Season 40, Battle of the Eras. But fan’s response to the new clip may not have been what the network had in mind.
MTV Releases Unseen Footage Of The Challenge Season 40
At the start of the video, Ct is seen standing up and walking away from his confessional. “For the record, I hope we’re not gonna try to make the bus video a thing because I don’t wanna talk about it,” he said, leaving in front of the green screen. The video shifts to show the cast on a bus, presumably from a night out in Vietnam because they are dressed in street clothes.

Due to several pivotal moments in the game, The Challenge: Battle of the Eras Episode 4 generated much controversy.
That included the close elimination outcome involving Derrick Kosinski and Horacio Gutierrez, as well as fan debates about whether Jordan Wiseley intentionally threw the daily challenge.
During the episode, the four Era teams competed in host Tj Lavin’s favorite event: a daily trivia challenge above water.
As a cast member incorrectly answered questions, teammates automatically dropped into the water below.
The first team to lose, Era 4, had their players automatically in the elimination event. The winning team would choose which losing teams’ players faced them.
It came down to a battle involving Era 2’s Laurel Stucky and Era 3’s Jordan as they participated in a tiebreaker question on land with castmates nearby.
However, Jordan didn’t know the answer to his question about who castmate Devin Walker partnered with during The Challenge: Rivals III season,...

Spoilers for The Challenge: All Stars 5 could excite longtime fans as multiple “icons” from MTV’s past could participate in the competition.
While previous spoilers suggested multiple individuals who weren’t originally MTV OGs, more recent updates indicate otherwise.
There will still be several non-mtv competitors who have appeared in recent seasons of The Challenge.
However, returning stars who are fan favorites from earlier seasons of The Challenge may make up for that with fans.
The latest updates arrive as the cast departs for Vietnam to begin filming the fifth season of the spinoff.

Brandon Nelson is among the MTV OGs who returned as part of The Challenge: All Stars 4 cast, and according to him, it came at an “opportune” time.
On the spin-off, the Fresh Meat 2 star reunited with former MTV castmates, including Cara Maria Sorbello, Jasmine Reynaud, Leroy Garrett, and Laurel Stucky.
For castmates and viewers, it was the first time they had seen Brandon compete in a version of The Challenge in 10 years.
His last appearance was on 2014’s Free Agents, where Zach Nichols eliminated him in the fourth episode. Throughout five seasons on The Challenge, Brandon never reached or won a final.
Brandon recently shared that his call for All Stars 4 came at the right time and explained why he hadn’t returned until the spinoff.

[Warning: The following post contains Major spoilers for The Challenge: All Stars‘ latest episode.] It’d been 10 years since Brandon Nelson last competed on The Challenge, and a lot of things changed in his personal life — and his gameplay strategy, for that matter — when he returned for All Stars Season 4. Though he and Cara Maria Sorbello were two of the few Challenge-first players (having both joined the show for Fresh Meat II) — and she was cast in every season he’d been on — he didn’t feel compelled to stay loyal to her when it came to choosing a pair for elimination in last week’s episode against Rachel Robinson. Though she came back with her star intact, Cara Maria was still stung by Brandon’s decision to turn against her, and he knew he’d have to pay for that decision sooner or later. He justified the move by ...

American TV bosses obviously didn’t learn many lessons from “Episodes,” the Showtime/BBC co-production which brilliantly skewered the habit of adapting British sitcoms, and removing all nuances, subtleties, and idiosyncrasies in the process. In the 13 years since its premiere, there’s been numerous failed pilots (“Spy”), ratings disasters (“Free Agents”), and entire series considered unfit for public consumption (“Us and Them”) which originated across the pond. Now the most singular UK comedy of the 2010s is going transatlantic.
The BAFTA-nominated “Friday Night Dinner” — which served up 37 episodes from 2011-2020 —stemmed from creator Robert Popper’s real-life secular Jewish family and their weekly Shabbat meals, explaining why everything from its suburban London home to its lovable oddballs feels so wonderfully specific. Disappointingly, Amazon Freevee’s “Dinner with the Parents” is as generic as its title.
The 10-part series on Freevee does attempt to retain some of the original’s quirks.

Laurel Stucky is among The Challenge greats thanks to her intimidating athletic ability to win daily challenges and most eliminations she participates in.
Over the years, she’s done seasons of MTV’s competition series with other champions, including Ashley Mitchell, Kaycee Clark, Tori Deal, and Cara Maria Sorbello.
There’s a storied rivalry between Laurel and Cara, who were formerly friends, enemies, and friends again.
There’s also the social aspect of the MTV show. Over the years, Laurel has formed friendships with many cast members, including Zach Nichols, a Battle of the Seasons 2012 winner.
Due to their friendship, the two Michigan-born Challenge stars got together for an episode of the Zach Nichols Podcast.
While Laurel spoke about her mindset and abilities to win the game, she also praised another castmate.

The Challenge Season 40 may feature plenty of fan favorites back in the cast after a season of relative newcomers to the show.
Battle For a New Champion is currently airing on MTV. Its theme is to determine the first-time winner of The Challenge.
Due to that, the format featured a cast of only a few finalists and mostly individuals who have appeared in two seasons or fewer.
There were also 10 Challenge champions who participated in single-episode elimination events but left after their brief appearances.
Meanwhile, rumors have circulated for weeks about who will join the cast for MTV’s next installment of their popular competition show.
Recently, two big names were revealed as potential cast members, including a former champion and finalist from the show.
Two more Og cast members potentially on Season 40
As of this writing, an online spoilers forum has added two more individuals to the list of The Challenge Season 40 cast members.

Nany González and Aneesa Ferreira faced off in the last elimination of The Challenge: Ride or Dies. It appears Nany intentionally tackled Aneesa low, and she seemingly hurt her injured ankle more, upsetting some fans who considered it a “dirty move.” Aneesa recently addressed it.
Many fans thought Nany Gonzalez pulled a ‘dirty move’ by targeting Aneesa Ferreira’s injury
Shortly after Day 2 of the finals in The Challenge: Ride or Dies aired, Aneesa Ferreira, rolled her ankle when teammate Jordan Wiseley suggested they run off the marked trail and through the forest.
Regardless, she powered through the remaining legs. However, after navigating through the dark corn maze, they reached host T.J. Lavin last, earning them a spot in elimination against Johnny “Bananas” Devenanzio and Nany González.

The Challenge star Johnny “Bananas” Devenanzio competed in 20 seasons before returning for Ride or Dies. In a recent interview, the winningest player named the season he considered the toughest to endure.
Johnny ‘Bananas’ Devenanzio named his ‘most miserable’ season
Seven-time champ Johnny “Bananas” Devenanzio has competed on The Challenge consistently since his 2006 debut on The Duel.
Therefore, he’s faced several conditions that would make the seasons more challenging, including the Survivor-inspired season The Island, which he went on to win, and being forced to compete alongside his rivals and exes. However, Johnny named season 32’s Final Reckoning (2018) as his “most miserable” season and pointed to the lack of human connection as the reason.

Keep your family close and your exes closer.
That could be the motto of MTV's newest edition of The Challenge, Battle of the Bloodlines, which introduces a new crop of mostly unseen family members of Real World and Challenge veterans into the long-running competition's already combustible dynamic.
You'd think that most dramatic part of People's exclusive sneak peek at Wednesday's premiere would be five-time Challenge winner Johnny "Bananas" Devenanzio talking about the show's "maniacal plot twists" or the revelation that Cohutta Grindstaff's cousin Jill postponed her wedding to join Bloodlines, but nope!

FIFA 16 draws ever-closer, and with the majority of teams’ transfer business completed, the free agent list for FIFA is taking shape, and there are certainly some bargains to be had. James Milner, Didier Drogba, and Yevhen Knoplyanka are three of the most talented free agents to have already found new homes during this window, but there are still plenty of big names left out there.
