General Hospital (Gh) spoilers report Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is worried sick that her impending hearing to seek the reinstatement of her law license could end in tragedy.
She hasn’t forgotten the tears in Molly Lansing Davis’ (Kristen Vaganos) eyes when she told her daughter about her plans to appeal the original decision in his case.
Alexis wants to be a lawyer again more than anything, but she knows that if her appeal is squashed, her heart will be broken — and she’s not dealt with that in terribly healthy ways in the past.
Rumor has it she may not be the only broken spirit living in the bottom of a bottle in Port Charles soon. Which other character might we see plummet into a depression soon and give in to their addiction?

From Jaws leaving him scarred at the age of 5 to The Shining inspiring his performance in The Spiderwick Chronicles, the horror genre has had a huge impact on Christian Slater over the years. Today’s Hollywood stars are more “sophisticated” and “aware of the business” than in the days Kyle MacLachlan was starting out, the Sex and the City star said today as he gave his thoughts on another Twin Peaks reboot.
As a budding actor, MacLachlan played the role of Paul Atreides in David Lynch’s 1980s version of Dune and he spotlighted how different the approach is for today’s young stars such as Timothée Chalamet, who plays Atreides in Denis Villeneuve’s version, and Chalamet’s co-star Zendaya.
“When I started I was plucked from relative obscurity from Seattle, where they had found me for Dune,” MacLachlan told a packed house at Cannes’ Espace Miramar this afternoon. “I thought I was going to work as a repertory theater actor and then suddenly I was in LA and I was like, ‘What am I doing? Tom Cruise Once Slammed His Mission Impossible Crew For This Reason. (Photo Credit – IMDb)
Tom Cruise is very dedicated to his work and ensures his crew members do not fool around. The Hollywood A-lister has a pretty good reputation in the industry, barring the Scientology controversy, but he once lost his temper while doing Mission Impossible 7, aka Mision: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One. An audio of him criticizing the crew members was allegedly published by a leading media outlet and at a studio in the UK.
The Mi franchise led by Cruise is one of his most popular ones, and the fans eagerly wait for every part. However, Mi 7 failed to create the same magic at the box office as its predecessors because of the Barbenheimer effect. It was released in the same month as Oppenheimer and Barbie. Bad news for Richonne shippers: Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and Michonne (Danai Gurira) are currently at odds with one another in "The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live," to the point that their entire relationship is being put to the test. In episode 2, "Gone," we saw the lovers reunite after overcoming impossible odds, hugging and crying until their reunion was cut short by a Crm chopper. Rick repeatedly reminds Michonne not to show who she really is, as being branded as an "A" (a leader willing to die for their cause) is a fate worse than death. The two fabricate a story about accidentally running into each other, where Michonne saved Rick and is simply a "B" (an everyday survivor searching for safety).

Over the past three decades, few filmmakers have mastered their craft better than David Fincher. With a fastidious eye for framing and a deep focus on directorial details, Fincher has fashioned some of the most precisely orchestrated cinematic outings since his big screen debut in 1992. Yet, for most avid cinephiles and casual movie fans alike, Fincher will almost always be most associated with Se7en and Fight Club in the 90s and perhaps The Social Network and Gone Girl in the 2010s. If that’s an accurate assessment, then it begs the question – what is David Fincher’s all-time most underrated movie? While the recent release of The Killer is a worthy candidate, and a serious case can be made for Zodiac, The Game continues to be a criminally unheralded psychological thriller that, upon repeat viewings, toys and torments the audience with devious plotting and duplicitous tricks as only Fincher can forge.

This article contains spoilers for The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live episode 2.
If there’s one thing that AMC’s The Walking Dead universe loves, it’s a time jump. While the first few seasons of the comic book adaptation were easy to follow, we were then hit with multiple skips through time, and fans were left scratching their heads as they fit together an increasingly confusing narrative.
Featuring the much-hyped return of Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira as Rick Grimes and Michonne, The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live brings the star-crossed lovers together after years apart. Unfortunately for those who were expecting a simplistic Romeo & Juliet with zombies, The Ones Who Live has already hit us with multiple time jumps. Sigh, it’s time to consult The Walking Dead timeline again.

[Warning: The following contains Major spoilers for The Ones Who Live Season 1, Episodes 1 and 2, “Years” and “Gone.”] It’s a question that has plagued Walking Dead fans endlessly—why was Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) a ‘B’ to the Crm, and what the heck is a ‘B,’ anyway? Throughout several spinoffs and a series of vague references, we’ve gotten closer to an answer. Now, with this week’s episode of The Ones Who Live, it seems we’ve finally obtained a concrete definition of who Crm sees as an ‘A’ and who it sees as a ‘B.’ Here’s what we know. Do You Have an ‘A’ or ‘B’? Crm’s method of classifying survivors goes all the way back to the war against the Saviors when Jadis (Pollyanna McIntosh) held Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) captive as an ‘A’ to turn over to the Crm. Other potential ‘A’s we’ve seen over the years have included Father Gabriel (Seth ...

Alaqua Cox Led Echo’s Budget Revealed ( Photo Credit – IMDb )
Marvel seems to have ignited new hopes among the fans with its recent mini-series, Echo. The Ma-rated show led by Alaqua Cox received positive responses from the viewers and managed to do so with a budget much less than some of Marvel’s previous shows. It might give the studio some perspective on their upcoming projects. Scroll below for more.
The Disney+ series explored the origin of Maya Lopez, her relationship with Kingpin [played by Vincent D’Onfrio], and catch up to the events of Hawkeye and after that. It is perfectly done as people have been intrigued, and their anticipation for Daredevil: Born Again has also increased. Charlie Cox as Daredevil also had a cameo in the Marvel show. For the unversed, Matt Murdock and Maya develop a relationship in the comics, and we hope that will be explored further in the MCU.

Spoiler alert: This story contains spoilers from “American Nightmare,” the three-part docuseries now streaming on Netflix.
“American Nightmare” may be difficult to watch at night. Netflix’s latest docuseries, from the filmmakers behind “The Tinder Swindler,” Felicity Morris and Bernadette Higgins, tells the story of a traumatic home invasion, abduction and the unreal events that unfolded from there.
In March 2015, Denise Huskins was abducted by a home invader from an apartment in Vallejo, Calif., and her boyfriend, Aaron Quinn, was drugged with Nyquil at the same time, so he wasn’t able to report her kidnapping right away. As shown in the docuseries, the Vallejo police first viewed Quinn as the prime suspect after hours of questioning and attempting to get him to confess. Then Huskins showed up at her father’s house in Huntington Beach, hours south of Vallejo, after being missing for two days. She was quickly labeled...

Aaron Quinn and Denise Huskins may not be household names, but what happened to them was made ubiquitous by a widely-known association: “Gone Girl.”
The California couple made headlines in 2015, just one year after David Fincher’s adaptation of the popular Gillian Flynn novel. Huskins was kidnapped, her then-boyfriend telling the police a shocking story, and after 48 hours, she came home. Their ordeal was treated like a “real-life ‘Gone Girl'” by the media — as well as local and federal officers — and now retold in the Netflix docuseries “American Nightmare,” helmed by Bernadette Higgins and Felicity Morris.
When Quinn and Huskins’ story reached the duo behind “The Tinder Swindler,” it was once again via “Gone Girl”-association. Higgins told IndieWire she was struck by all the twists and turns in their story (which doesn’t end after Huskins came home), and the “sheer audacity” of law enforcement in the situation.

Comics Author James Tynion IV, Artist Christian Ward Team for Ghost Story ‘Spectregraph’ (Exclusive)
Modern horror comics master James Tynion IV has some new scare fare for 2024, this time a series for upstart publisher Dstlry.
The creator of acclaimed and best-selling comics Something Is Killing the Children and The Nice House on the Lake is teaming with Christian Ward, the writer-artist behind the current Batman miniseries Batman: City of Madness for Spectregraph, described as a ghost story steeped in the decay of a century of capitalism.
The logline is thus: For years, the mansion has sat strangely, nestled into the coastline just a short drive north of Los Angeles. Rumors have haunted the place for years, its owner a titan of American industry, with a strange fascination in the occult and the paranormal. For decades, the richest men and women in the country have whispered to each other, trying to understand what he was building alone in that mansion for all those years. And now finally,...

This post contains spoilers for "The Fall of the House of Usher."
Mike Flanagan's partnership with Netflix has resulted in some of the finest works of horror of the past few decades. Between "The Haunting of Hill House" and "Midnight Mass," we have two masterpieces of horror. Plus, there's "Gerald's Game," one of the best Stephen King adaptations ever. Before that partnership ended, however, Flanagan gave us arguably his angriest and gnarliest work yet in "The Fall of the House of Usher."
The limited series, which is a loose adaptation of Edgar Allan Poe's literary work, follows the titular Usher family, whose patriarch Roderick made a fortune in the pharma industry. Their nightmare begins when Roderick's children start dying. One of those children is Camille L'Espanaye. She is the head of PR at Roderick's pharma empire and a ruthless, sharp-tongued woman with dirt on every member of the family.

Zakiya Dalila Harris’ novel “The Other Black Girl” has hit the small screen in ten episodes filled with songs that support the story’s underlying message of compromising identity and Blackness in a majority-white workplace. Developed by Harris and Rashida Jones, who contributed the intro montage, to Episode 7 set to Anita Baker’s “Sweet Love,” the series crosses multiple genres from comedy to thriller and provides social commentary on how minority Poc employees compromise and navigate the social system of corporate America.
Set to Sza, TLC, Busta Rhymes, H.E.R., Janelle Monae and more, many scenes in the show become even stronger with the songs in the background. Co-showrunners Gus Hickey and Jordan Reddout left the ending open for a potential second season. The suspense and humor go hand in hand with the soundtrack for “The Other Black Girl.”

It has become a running record that “Better Call Saul” has yet to win a single Emmy Award from its now 53 nominations. But the AMC legal crime drama has seven last chances this year to nab a long-awaited and deserved trophy for the second half of its stellar final season, which aired last summer. Read on for a closer look at “Better Call Saul’s” final seven nominations.
While the “Breaking Bad” prequel has been hit-or-miss in a lot of other main categories in the past, it has kept a slot in the Best Drama Series category its entire run. This year, half of the lineup is a whole new crop of shows and with nomination tallies, “Better Call Saul” is in the same realm as Netflix’s former recipient “The Crown” with six and freshman series “Andor” on Disney+ and “House of the Dragon” on HBO with eight. Howdy pardners! Today, we’re galloping back to 1988, when Christopher Cain and a band of rootin’ tootin’ outlaws shot up the silver screen for the American Western action film Young Guns. Presented as a retelling of the adventures of Billy the Kid during the Lincoln Couty War, Young Gun features a murderers’ row of talent, including Emilio Estevez, Kiefer Sutherland, Lou Diamond Phillips, Charlie Sheen, Dermot Mulroney, Casey Siemaszko, Terence Stamp, Jack Palance, and Terry O’Quinn.
Cain directs from a script by John Fusco. Young Guns revolves around a group of young gunmen, led by Billy the Kid, who become deputies to avenge the murder of the rancher who became their benefactor. However, when Billy takes their authority too far, they become the hunted.
Historian Paul Hutton once called Young Guns the most historically accurate of all films focusing on the dirty deeds of Billy the Kid as of its year of release.

Nearly a year and a half has passed since we heard that Sonya Walger (For All Mankind) had signed on to star in the cat and mouse horror thriller New Life with Hayley Erin of Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists, and Tony Amendola – who was in both the Conjuring Universe film Annabelle and the Conjuring Universe adjacent The Curse of La Llorona. New Life recently made its premiere at the Fantasia film festival, where our own Tyler Nichols got to check it out, resulting in a 7/10 review you can read Here. We included the teaser trailer in that review, but just in case you overlooked it, this seemed like a good time to put a spotlight on it, since New Life is now set to screen at FrightFest in London in just a week and a half, on Friday, August 25th.
This film marks the feature debut of writer/director John Rosman.

Now they’re expanding it into a deluxe edition filled with cover versions by the Jonas Brothers, Ryan Tedder, Owl City, and Tyler Joseph from Twenty One Pilots, among others. “To hear our friends and heroes singing these songs of ours — such legendary voices, such amazing talent — it’s truly a wonderful, strange gift,” Switchfoot frontman Jon Foreman said in a statement.
