Succuba was filmed in 5 days.
During production, the actress who was originally cast as Tracee, was a no-show. The location where the scenes were scheduled & most of the movie was filmed, wasn't available for any rescheduled shoots. To save the production from extreme delay, the director asked the production photographer to fill in for the role.
Due to the small budget, the director served literally as a one man crew for the production & post-production. He was the cinematographer, gaffer, on set sound recorder, set designer & editor. The makeup artist and set photographer were the only crew members hired.
The director considered writing and shooting more scenes because of the short run-time. The extra scenes seemed to slow down the film during table reads and were never filmed.
There was a scripted thunderstorm that played a key part in the narrative of the film. The director intended for the storm to occur during the interior scenes with a plan to use sound effects for the storm. During those particular scenes, a real thunderstorm passed through adding genuine production value to the film.
