Sex & Nudity

  • A condom machine can be seen, but cannot be interacted with and it doesn't show anything explicit.

Violence & Gore

  • Nathan Drake appear to get shot to death in one cutscene, as blood seeps trough their suits. However, the shots are actually blanks and the blood is fake.
  • An unlikable bandit character is shot by Nathan Drake and is later shown with blood staining his shirt, before he shoots the glass ceiling of a sinking ship and presumably drowns.
  • It's not that violent it's just got a little blood
  • The violence in Uncharted 3 isn't as extreme as parents think, as in the game, Nathan Drake does it out of self defense. When a enemy is shot a little blood is shown. No gore whatsoever. There's a fair bit of hand-to-hand combat and punch-ups, sometimes bottles and other objects can be smashed into the enemies. Other methods of killing include stealth-like neck-snapping and pulling enemies off ledges. This's a third-person action-adventure shooter, and various guns are used.

Profanity

  • One very brief mumbling of the word fuck.
  • Mild to Moderate Profanity. Words include: about 15-20 uses Shit, about 5 uses of Goddamn and scattered uses of Damn, Ass, Hell, bollocks, etc
  • Keep in mind that the campaign is about ten to fifteen hours, so the language is scattered, and not constant.
  • Profanity most frequently during gameplay. Turning off Speech in the Audio Options will cut out much of the swearing (cutscenes will not be affected by this setting).

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • The beginning scene takes place in a busy pub.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • This game may be frightening to arachnophobic users.

Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Violence & Gore

  • In one cutscene, one of Nathan Drake's allies appears to get killed by gunshot and blood seeps through his shirt; this doesn't actually happen and is merely hallucinated.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Nate's friend Sully smokes a cigar. There are a few scenes of involuntary drug-use, where a couple of characters are shot with poison darts, which cause them to hallucinate and experience severe paranoia and/ or violence towards their friends 3\10

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Intenste violence action.
  • Most of the intense scenes in the game involve the main character barely escaping with his life as his environment collapses or falls apart around him. One scary scene in particular involves a main character accidentally ingesting psychedelic drugs. This causes him to have frightening hallucinations. E.g. enemies appear as shrieking supernatural figures with heads covered in flames. This may disturb sensitive viewers.
