A mythical creature in the outback territories of Australia goes on a murderous rampage.

Jason Ellis' portrayal of "The Woodsman" is a cinematic tour de force! His broad acting range is put to the test as he (successfully) channels the myriad emotions of this obviously pained mythical creature. The supporting roles were perfectly cast, lending a unique combination of power and believability to this well-executed script. Special effects were perfectly utilized to provide an element of realism. For an added treat, the "Director's Cut" provides additional insight into the turmoil that fuels The Woodsman's passion and fury. I would recommend this film to any aspiring film-student who is searching for an example of a psychological thriller that is laced with intelligent humor and satirical irony. I eagerly await the sequel from this fine group of independent filmmakers.

Funny Movie if you listen to The Jason Ellis Show

If you listen to the Jason Ellis Show on Sirius/XM on Faction you will think this movie is hilarious. I found myself laughing at a lot of the inside jokes like the Master P doll and the knife made of poop.

If you are expecting a well directed, well written, and well acted movie then you should look elsewhere. The movie does contain fun cameos from famous friends of the Jason Ellis show like, Tony Hawk, Benji Madden, Donald Schultz, Joanna Angel, and @thedingoinsnow.

The point of the movie is that it's funny for how crappy it is. If you don't get that then you will think it's terrible. If you take it for what it's worth it's pretty funny. Red Dragons!!!!!

If you haven't yet had the privilege of watching "The Woodsman," you need to immediately go and watch it. It is one of the greatest bloody train wrecks ever. This Death! Death! Die! production created by members and fans of The Jason Ellis Show contains amazing comedic and dramatic performances from all of it's cast members. The plot gets straight to the point, making the movie easy to follow. There some surprises along the way leading up to an epic climax. If you take my advice and watch this movie, you won't be disappointed. After watching the original, you should also find someone who was smart enough to purchase the movie so you can watch the Director's Cut. This version of "The Woodsman" offers an in depth view into the mind of movie's creators, and is another "must see."
