- Peter needs a new kidney after he destroys his making his own Red Bull; Chris gets to introduce President Obama after plagiarizing Meg's poem.
- Peter becomes addicted to Red Bull, an energy drink. Peter becomes really hyper after drinking one too many of the energy drinks. Lois soon throws away Peter's energy drink to prevent him from damaging his health any further. Peter attempts to make his own Red Bull, but he adds kerosine in his homemade drink, it leads to dangerous consequences for Peter and he must undergo a kidney transplant. Brian volunteers to undergo the operation for Peter's sake, but it doesn't sit well for Stewie. Brian is captured by Stewie and he holds him captive at a playground, but Stewie is scared over losing his best friend. Before the operation can start, it is soon discovered that Dr. Hartman is a perfect match for Peter's kidney operation. The Griffin family is soon ecstatic that Brian will still be here. Meanwhile, Chris plagiarizes a speech from Meg, he soon begins to take all the credit, which angers Meg. Chris is allowed to read his speech to the president, but he allows Meg to read the speech with him.—dawsonpersi
- After years of drinking with the guys, Peter's love of the sauce has finally caught up with him and he needs a kidney transplant. Brian offers him one of his, but will a canine kidney be compatible? Meanwhile, Meg and Chris collaborate on a poem to celebrate a very important visitor.—Fox Publicity
- Exhausted from Brian keeping him awake at night, Peter is introduced to Red Bull by the guys. Completely wired, Peter loses all control forcing Lois to pour out all of the drink. Determined to make his own Red Bull, Peter poisons himself on kerosene and destroys his kidney's forcing himself to undergo dialysis. After Peter blows off a treatment to watch Charles in Charge and passes out, the family becomes even more concerned about getting Peter a transplant. It turns out the only possible kidney donation can come from Brian but the procedure will kill him. Determined to make up to Peter for taking him, Brian agrees to the kidney transplant. Brian fails to keep the secret from Stewie and is kidnapped but manages to talk Stewie into letting him go. As they prepare for surgery, Dr. Hartman arrives prepared to undergo the transplant operation instead; it turns out he is a match for Peter. Dr. Hartman explains that it is unlikely that Peter would have survived the surgery either, as there were doubts that Brian's kidneys would function for Peter and he does not want to lose two patients.
Meanwhile, Chris struggles to write an essay on "Hope" for English class for President Obama's arrival. Meg gives an inspiring speech on her interpretation of hope and Chris copies it to win the essay contest. Meg is furious that Chris won with her speech and no one will believe that it was hers. Overjoyed that their dad and Brian are both saved, they agree to present the essay to President Obama together.
