Failed relationship comedy

Warning: Spoilers
Instead of a really creative and witty approach to the genre, this film, which runs clearly under 90 minutes, basically has nothing but cheap sex jokes and subplots where people mistake people for other people. It is about a mother-son relationship and a man-woman relationship where the man is supposedly much younger. At least that is the case in the script. The two actors are only two years apart and it never works to convince us there is a difference of 10 years. Oh yeah, but back to the humor: "When can I get it out?", "I take care of new clients myself.", "I need it quicker". Do I need to say more? I don't think so. Worst humor possible.

In addition to that Folkerts ("Tatort") and Schütt (dozens of cheesy romantic movies, but looks like her career may be over now that her looks are fading) have proved on several occasions during their prolific careers that they have only very little range and most of the supporting players are not better. Habeck's role is too small to really make an impact and same goes for Brambach, who is a brilliant actor in my opinion. It's a bit sad to see him in movies like this or also, more recently, "Die Staatsaffäre". I actually loved the director's work on "Der Dicke", but that is probably only because of Pfaff (rip), than because of anything else and Broecker has also done several other weak romance films in the past. Still this has to be one of the worst. It tries so hard to be funny, but really never succeeds. Terrible, terrible writing. Probably, not even Spielberg oder Day-Lewis could have saved that script. No surprise, it is the writer's only work since 2009. Folkerts' character for some reason does not even recognize her own son's voice at the telephone and looking at the story, in the end all the characters are probably supposed to be likable, but none of them is to me. Stay away. Don't watch this. Don't do this to yourselves.
