Supper at James Beard House
I watch this show religiously and I have learned a tremendous amount about cooking from Debi and Gabriele. In general Gabriele's recipes and meal combinations are excellent.
I just finished watching the Supper at James Beard House episode. I cannot, for the life of me, figure out why for such a sumptuous seafood meal, Gabriele allowed RED Chianti to be paired and served as apposed to a Chablis or a Pinot Noir.
Is there something or someone that explains what would make the Chianti acceptable?

Oh Debi
Debi does not know how to pronounce the word spaghetti, she calls it "spageet-ty". This irritates me.
