Goofs

In order to help Wallace relax and to avoid the showing of a drama with a malevolent robot, Norbot turns off Wallace's TV before he is pampered and overdosed on Snoozy Choc. As Wallace is forced to drink his sedative it's evident that the TV is now showing green and red lights which had gone off when Norbot had turned off the TV a little earlier.

In the closing credits, Matt Monro is incorrectly listed as Matt Monroe for the song Born Free.

The engine of the van turns over, even thought the gnomes have stolen the battery.

At 44 min Gromit lifts the car hood to reveal a wire sparking and a missing battery. With the battery missing there would be nothing to generate an electrical spark.

The railway signal from 01:10:08 to 01:10:17 is 'off' (proceed aspect), but the light is shining a red lens (which is stop/danger aspect). This is due to the animators having made an upper quadrant semaphore signal, but gave it a lower quadrant spectacle plate.

Wallace tells Gromit that he never imagined that his inventions could be used for wrong-doing, however this is exactly what happens in A Close Shave when Preston uses Wallace's Knit-O-Matic to turn stolen sheep into dog food. Though it's likely that Wallace simply forgot about that ever happened in the first place, considering that he forgot to know how the old teapot works.

Feathers McGraw uses the sardines can to reflect the TV broadcast towards the camera, not his own eyes, which would be on the other side of the wall. Though it may be that he's breaking the fourth wall for the audience to see who and what he saw through the sardines can.
