Take a look at the next "Agents of Shield" episode, "Adapt or Die", airing July 1, 2020 on ABC:
On the previous episode "A Trout in the Milk", the agents return to the speakeasy in 1973 to discover that 'S.H.I.E.L.D.' is preparing 'Project Insight', which should not be developed for several more decades, led by 'Wilfred Malick', who should have died in 1970. Wilfred and the 'Chronicoms' attempt to capture the agents, but 'Daisy' briefly takes his son 'Nathaniel' (who also should be dead) hostage to allow their escape. Nathaniel sees Daisy use her powers.
"The agents reunite with 'Enoch' and return to the 'Zephyr'. Without warning, the Chronicoms jump forward to 1976 when Project Insight is set to launch and the Zephyr follows. 'Coulson' and 'May' plant explosives in the 'Lighthouse' where Insight is being launched while 'Deke' and 'Yo-Yo' confront 'Wilfred'.
"The latter reveals that the parents of 'Mack' are hostages inside the Lighthouse,...

Cops enlisting psychics, or anyone with a supernatural power or Esp, to help solve crimes has long since become a tongue-in-cheek bit in most cop dramas. When a one tries to present the idea seriously, the threat of falling from complex drama into supernatural camp looms over every story arc and often is the final resting place. In the case of film, it just happens a lot faster because the writers compress it into a 90-minute frame. If ever InSight had a chance of avoiding that fate, it was gone within the first five minutes of the film when the protagonist, played by Natalie Zea, tries and fails to make her case for having received a clue from a murder victim who died before arriving on her operating table. From there on out InSight tries to dig itself out of that hole, but only manages to run itself further aground.

Today is a good day to be a zombie fan folks, as The Asylum and director Nick Lyon (Species: The Awakening) have debuted the first teaser trailer for Zombie Apocalypse. There are make-up effects, pitched battles and actress Taryn Manning in a shower scene, all in under two minutes. The clip shows solid production values and The Asylum, from the promotional material, seems to be backing a winner here based on the story and the cast. Also starring are Ving Rhames (Dawn of the Dead), Gary Weeks (Deadland), Johnny Pacar (The Dead Undead) and Lesley-Ann Brandt (InSight).
This title will debut on television first through the SyFy Network. The first air date is October 29th at 9:00pm and this is just two weeks after the premiere of "The Walking Dead." Perhaps there is a competitive air afoot. Then, not much later, The Asylum will release this title on DVD December 27th.

I don't know about you, but if I see the name Christopher Lloyd on a movie, I'm watching it.
This weekend, Lloyd's new film InSight will be released in limited theaters, and also stars Sean Patrick Flanery (The Boondock Saints), Adam Baldwin (Firefly), Natalie Zea (Justified), Thomas Ian Nicholas (American Pie), and Veronica Cartwright.
You can check out the trailer here below for the film, directed by Richard Gabai, but I'll be honest -- the trailer doesn't do the movie justice. Matter of fact, it plays like a Funny or Die parody of a psychological paranormal thriller. So, maybe skip the trailer and just go by who's actually in the movie.
Oh, and the story, story is important too: an ER nurse (Zea) gets zapped while trying to revive a dying woman who's been stabbed. She then immediately gets the woman's memories; of course, everyone thinks she's nuts now and...

“InSight” is a twisty, manipulative, and surprisingly unpredictable thriller from actor/director Richard Gabai, whose credits up to now have been teen-friendly fare like “Popstar”, “Call of the Wild 3D”, and “Motocross Kids”. (You know, the kind of films you watch when no one knows you’re watching?) He’s also an actor, with roles in some truly horrific B-movies over the years (including as a regular in the films of one Fred Olen Ray, and if you don’t know who Fred Olen Ray is, then you’ve been denying yourself some truly awful direct-to-dvd B-movies). Gabai’s latest is a major detour from his usual stuff, with the director diving into a mind trip screenplay from Aaron Ginsburg and Wade McIntyre that, while it looks to be treading familiar territory, nevertheless manages to pull off a couple of surprises anyway. “InSight” stars “Justified’s” Natalie Zea as Kaitlyn,...

Insight is one part murder mystery and one part psychological thriller. This film stars Sean Patrick Flanery and Natalie Zea centrally. Flanery plays a detective, while Zea plays Kaitlyn a night nurse with a mission. That mission is to find a young girl's killer, after this victim dies in her emergency room. A defibrillator possibly gives Kaitlyn psychic insight into the killer's identity, while the final moments of this film delivers an unseen emotional punch. Insight will be in theatres September 2nd and this reviewer would suggest you get in line, for the: tense plot, a psychological unravelling and the great ending.

Alien and Witches Of Eastwick star Veronica Cartwright is disappointed by ageism in Hollywood, insisting Susan Sarandon gets all the good parts for mature actresses.
The 62 year old, who has been acting since she was nine, admits she's struggling to land decent film and TV roles because a select group of actresses, headed by Sarandon, are going for everything she'd like to be considered for.
Cartwright tells WENN, "There is a group of women that get all of the roles and it just doesn't seem fair when Susan Sarandon gets everything - and now she's willing to do TV. I want to get offered those parts."
But Cartwright feels her fortunes may be turning, thanks to a pivotal role as a terminal cancer patient in new thriller InSight and interest from Quentin Tarantino.
She explains, "I recently met Q coming back from England and we had a long talk and I told him I'd love to work with him. I heard that he made it mandatory for the cast and crew on Grindhouse to watch Macon County Line and my husband (the late Richard Compton) directed that... I thought, 'This is my intro into Tarantino'. I mean, this guy knew every movie that Richard had done.
"We were on this flight and he was on his knees talking to me. It was so cool... I introduced myself and he said, 'Oh, I loved The Invasion of the Body Snatchers!' He didn't know that I had been married to Richard."...

Former child star Veronica Cartwright still has no idea why she was 'robbed' of the role of Ripley in cult sci-fi film Alien days before filming was to start in London.
The British-born actress, who famously played Tippi Hedren's daughter in The Birds, reveals she was in England ready to start work on the film when she discovered she would be playing Lambert in the project, and Sigourney Weaver had been given the lead.
She tells WENN, "I had no idea because I had only read for Ripley and when I got over to England they called up and said, 'Can you go in for wardrobe for Lambert?' I went, 'Oh no, I'm Ripley.'
"I had to call my agent and he said, 'No, you're Ripley.' It was so bizarre and so I had to re-read the script from the point of view of Lambert, and I thought she was a bit of a whiny b**ch, but I think she became the voice of the audience; she was the only sane character, if you think about it."
The role won Cartwright acclaim and a Best Supporting Actress Saturn Award, but she has never had an explanation as to why she didn't end up playing Ripley.
She adds, "Nobody said anything. I guess I must have misunderstood. I brought it up a couple of times."
The actress, who has just wrapped new thriller InSight with Christopher Lloyd and Sean Patrick Flanery, reveals there were plenty of odd moments during the making of the Ridley Scott classic that spoiled the filmmaking experience for her.
She explains, "If you've ever seen the big box set (DVD of Alien) there are nine outtakes and I'm in eight of them. I had a big part in that movie and it was changed, and I'm glad in the Director's Cut (version) they put the hit back in. I just thought Ripley was an a**hole for not letting us in. How dare she. And when I hit her, that felt like it was spontaneous and it's something Lambert would have done.
"Then, when I was doing publicity for the film, I was asked, 'How does it feel to have the (alien's) tail going up between my legs?' Well, they weren't even my legs. They never shot my death... I kept saying, 'When are we going to shoot that?'"
But Scott chose another actor to double for Cartwright on the day of the shoot.
