When Jesse is playing Rage (2011) at the beginning, there is an Easter egg on the wall when he is going down the stairs as pointed out on the commentary. The graffiti spells out "Gale."
When Jesse is seen playing Rage (2011), he's using a light gun to play, but the actual game was controlled with a joypad/mouse-keys. The people from ID Software, the makers of the game, recorded gameplay footage, which Aaron Paul then pretended to shoot at. The game also features various Breaking Bad Easter eggs, including Tuco Salamanca's grill in its Perspex block in the Sheriff's Office and various drink cups and menus from Los Pollos Hermanos scattered around the different levels.
At the beginning, Jesse is shown playing Rage (2011). Ironically, a character from the game, Dan Hager, is modeled after Walter White, the main character in this show.
This is the second episode in a row in which the phrase "keep your friends close and your enemies closer" is said. In Cornered (2011) Walt says it to Jesse, and in this Hank to Gomez and the chief.
