In WWII era Montréal, a young Jewish immigrant boy talks about his father, who he sees as a superhero. His father was able to get their family out of Nazi occupied France before they would have been captured, imprisoned and probably executed by the Nazis. In Paris, his father owned his own handbag factory employing one hundred fifty people. He now comes home from his job as a handbag designer frustrated by not being the boss and having his work be judged by those at the top. But a visit the boy would make to the factory would show what a superhero his father really is in providing a life for their family.
