- TriviaThe scene in which Louie and Nick fight caused a minor controversy in December 2009. An extra on the set recorded audio of the scene during filming and posted it on the internet claiming that it was a real fight. The audio spread and many believed that it was real. Howard Stern played it on his radio show and also believed that it was real. C.K. and DiPaolo posted statements that the fight was a scene.
- GoofsIn the "Dr. Ben" segment, when Louie is performing on stage, the shadow of the Steadicam operator can be seen against the wall. This isn't really a goof as we are not meant to be under the impression it's not being recorded. We are in on it so it's fine that we see it. They are not hiding it.

In Two Minds. An Ailing Episode.
This is the first episode I've had very mixed feelings about. The Pilot I loved it all. Episode 2 I Didn't care for.
This time I absolutely enjoyed the Ricky Gervais Doctor segments. He's one of my favourite comedians and so is Louis CK so having them together is a treat. It's trademark Ricky acting as himself and not as a character. I also enjoyed the unhelpful and combative nurse.
On the other hand I really don't find Nick DiPaolo funny. I hope he's not featured heavily in the upcoming episodes. Too much of this episode is spent on his standup and subsequent conversation with Louis. I don't care about his politics, it's the delivery and the jokes themselves I don't find funny.
9 or 10 for Ricky, 4 or 5 for Nick, so 7 / 10 overall.
