A documentary to be seen over and over
For us Brazilians, and for all people abroad, a documentary that's worth seeing over and over again. A mass phenomena that occurred during the 50's on the radio and reached the 80's on TV with astounding success. If you want to know a little more about Brazil and its culture, here's an unique opportunity to understand what's it all about. It gave an opportunity to everyone who thought they had talent, as well as to present every performer, singer, juggler, musician, magician, you name it, who were already famous. Now and then. Chacrinha (real name Abelardo Barbosa)was the essence of mass communication. In a show that, at first glance, seemed a complete mess, with it's host blowing a horn and throwing cod fish, among other things at the audience, but never sliding down to being offensive (believe or not), Chacrinha was synonymous of entertainment, never equaled since. An absolute must !
