This was a great episode. It had a wonderful film-noir episode, complete with a femme fatale, and featured "Greg Sanders," a likable character on this TV show.
The opening shot is a gruesome one with a man lying at the base of a hill outside of town, still smoking. His head has been burned so badly it looks like a ripe cantaloupe. There are also burn marks on his ankles, wrist and one across his chest. It's quickly deduced this man has been electrocuted and then dumped to this place!
Anyway, the story winds up with three of these electrocutions and along the way we get a budding romance with Eric Szmanda ("Greg") and a woman who comes into the CSI building as part of a tour. She kinda flirts with him and "Nick" urges him to "go for it, man. Get her phone number." He does, the two hit it off and "Greg" is in dreamland with this new hot-looking woman: "Ellen Whitebridge" (Dita Von Teese). Only one problem; this fourth grade teacher seems a little too interested in this recent case and may not be who she claims to be.
It turns out to be a fascinating story, not only with the odd portable executions (all done in the back of a truck!) but also with this lady, "Ellen" who "Greg" has a crush on.
Note: Dita Von Teese (not real name) was once married to Marilyn Manson (not his real name either), the atheist singer freak. Talk about a strange pair.
