- Eric and Phil Yagota try to convince Drama to work on a sitcom. Turtle gains an unlikely partner in a new business venture. Ari and Barbara Miller clash over giving Lizzie a promotion.
- E and Lloyd (Rex Lee) get Drama to meet Roger (Jeff Garlin). Roger is a writer who is coming out retirement to write a sitcom about 2 brothers working at the 4 seasons Maui. Drama scoffs at the idea of being in a sitcom, but a partial script and some convincing from Eric and Phil start to change his mind. E tells Drama that the script is funny. Phil also finds Drama funny when he reads the script. Phil, the producer, pitches the show to the network and they are in, if John Stamos is in (as the 2nd lead on the show) & approves of Drama as his co-star.
Barbara (Beverly D'Angelo) demands that Ari promote Lizzie (Autumn Reeser) (Since Andrew is in rehab & Lizzie did help Ari land the NFL deal, Barbara wants Lizzie to take over Andrew's job). Lizzie's work speaks for itself and she is closing a lot of clients by herself for the TV department. But they are not the only women causing trouble for him. Mrs Ari wants him to fire Lizzie. Melissa is still very angry with Ari for having Lizzie around, after she broke up Andrew's family. Melissa doesn't like Lizzie one bit. Barbara tells Ari that Lizzie will quit unless she gets the promotion, but Ari tells her that Lizzie is not ready. She looks 21 and needs more experience before she runs an entire department. Ari says that Lizzie caused the demise of Andrew. So, he wants her to bide her time and when she is ready, she will get her shot. By the end of the day Lizzie quits.
Turtle's business is losing cash & his accountant Marvin (Paul Herman) advises him to take out a bankruptcy insurance policy. Turtle has already borrowed $30,000 from Vince & can't go back to him for more. Turtle goes back to his driver girls and tells them that they must work for half the salary from now on-wards and that they can make up the difference in tips. The girls says that the tips are down with the economy. They walk out as they can make more money by being extras on sets. Turtle is nearly out of options when his employees quit on him, but some unexpected help may save him yet.
Alex calls when her check from Turtle bounces. Turtle offers to pay her in cash and Alex drives down to meet him. Alex meets Turtle & has a business proposition for him, with her contact down in Mexico. She asks Turtle to come with her.
Scott Lavin continues to ingratiate himself with Vince following a wine-auction road trip, rankling Eric in the process. Scott tells Vince how he does all the dirty work for Murray, as Murray is never in the office. Vince tells him stories about the stuff he made E do for him over the years. Scott gets Vince introduced to a famous director Randall Wallace, who considers starring Vince in his next movie. The director says he has been calling Ari, and Vince tells him to call Scott.
Vince now invites Scott to his house parties, which E is missing as he is spending all his time with Sloan (Emmanuelle Chriqui). E warns Vince about Scott. E figures out that Vince is partying with Scott and that Scott has the next script for Vince. E rushes to meet Vince, leaving Sloan. Scott continues to push E's buttons (E tells Scott not to bring any new projects to Vince, but Scott says that they both represent Vince now) & finally E snaps & pushes Scott away physically.
