How to waste a good plot 101

Warning: Spoilers
Yeah this series can teach you how to do that alright.

I was so sad because I really wanted to love this series, the chemistry between the leads was great but at some point it started to not make any sense.

So many things lacked explanaiton....
  • What exactly was Yeong Woo and Yi Bin relationship in the past? What was the deal with the rings they both wore back then until present day, even after Yeong Woo and Ki Jin were in a relationship??

  • Why did Ki Jin suddenly stop talking to Yeong Woo and then suddenly orders a roll of kimbap after a whole year, they laugh it off and proceed to buy clothes like nothing happened?

It's a shame because this series had a great plot that could have kept us hooked for at least half an hour per episode, instead everything was rushed and confusing. I was watcing it with the feeling that a whole "behind the cut" story went on and we never got to see it...

Still, it's worth the watch I think. Just not gonna watch it again.

Started so well and died with time

This KBL had a lot of potential and when I say this I mean a lot of potential. The first 2 eps hit me so hard I loved everything but then the story started getting confusing and ultimately became a mess.

Things are happening and I can't understand why and how...it was a bit disappointing considering the raise in expectations due to the good start.

Overall, there are better KBLs in the market and you can skip through this one if not necessary.

Nothing to write home about.

This was hard to rate because it did keep me interested but I wouldn't come back to this and rewatching it voluntarily UNLESS there was nothing else to watch.

At the end of the day if you don't have high expectations, you'll enjoy this for the easy waste of time that it is. I will say my biggest irk is the ending scene. It's so random and there is no speaking and it just ends and it killed me. I was going to rate that episode a 6 but I couldn't drop the rating for the one episode based on the last 2 mins.

Either way your not missing much if you skip this mini series.

Warning: Spoilers
The storyline is very confusing. Hwang ibin and Yeong woo had a back story but it was never really explained? You can't really see the actors' relationship developing either. Also, the acting was only so-so. Overall, its very difficult to watch. The casting also doesnt make much sense so... It has a good plot but it was executed poorly.
