Parallel but not Together is a romance told in two parallel story-lines in which a man and a woman pursue each other across time. We see these two people, Matthew and Kendra, in the past meeting and hitting it off and then again, years later after having had a serious relationship. The film is about these two chance meetings, these two points of opportunity missed. This is a film about simultaneity, synchronicity, the possibility of revisiting the past, and the patterns that persist in our relationships and interactions. Mostly though, it's just kind of cute.
