- Clark proposes to Lois, after their engagement party at Watchtower Oliver stops a mugging only to be attacked by a group of civilians, with help from Hawkman and Stargirl he manages to escape. It becomes clear to Clark that with the VRA painting them as villains that, for now, the heroes must shut down Watchtower and go underground. Meanwhile, at the Daily Planet the the VRA interrogate Lois, Tess and Emil trying to find out the real identities of the heroes.—Spartan-B312
- Given Oliver's entrapment and continuous foul play on the part of general Slade Wilson's VRA act-sanctioned 'vigilantes' hunt, which recently even gained popular support, as shown by a mob physically turning on Oliver instead of the mugger he stopped, Clark decides to shut down Watchtower indefinitely. Slade's troops invade the Daily Planet and try to break Tess, Lois and Emil, but instead even their mole Cat ends up switching sides. Hawkman tels his superhero mates he repeatedly saw the Darkness invade earth, only to be stopped by an equally surprising nobler force. He ends up sacrificing his life to save Lois.—KGF Vissers
