- Tara and her alters seem to have found a way to co-exist and life is good. They are respecting each other's space, only coming out when it's agreeable to all. Kate is working as a flight attendant and has been flirting with one of their regular customers on his frequent flights to Tulsa. She doesn't understand why he hasn't asked her out and decides to take Tara's advice and take the initiative. Marshall and Noah trade ideas on what their new video project should be and find inspiration in old videos of Tara and Max. Without discussing it with Charmaine, Neil meets with her mother Beverley and invites her to the house hoping she will pay some of the bills. Beverley's presence has a not unexpected effect on Tara.—garykmcd
- Open with Tara trying to get some work down outside. A bird won't stop singing and she walks over as Buck and shoots it out of the tree.
Cut to Tara meeting with Hattarras. She excited about how obedient the alters are being after the deal. Hattarras isn't so excited and wants her to talk about Max. He reads to her the comments Max made about whether she'd still be "a bunch of people" after the kids leave the house. She admits that she and Max have never discussed it, instead immediately having sex.
We see Kate working a flight to Tulsa. She meets a guy named Evan who seems pretty nice.
Neil meets with Beverly at a diner. She has yet to meet baby Cassandra. Charmaine doesn't know he's there. He tells her he wants their family to get back together and hands her the check.
Max talks to Tara about his crappy job. This lead to him telling her he knows that the other night when they had sex it was T and not her. He says he wants a situation where he's with only her and not the alters. And he's willing to wait.
Marshall and Noah look through the basement for possible source material for their movie. They find what look like home movies and Marshall seems terrified about what they might contain.
Charmaine talks to Tara about her lack of milk production. She wonders if it might be psychosomatic based on her fears about having implants. Beverly shows up and Tara turns into T. She says "you're looking old, bitch" and walks out. When T returns to Tara's house Tara quickly returns.
Tara tells Hattarras that T knew she's been unable to face her mother and protected her. Hattarras still isn't impressed.
Charmaine is upset Neil brought her mother to the house. He says the reason is that they need money. She suggests he get a job and he references a travel-heavy gig with his brother. Beverly walks into the room, grabs the baby and tells them she's taking them out shopping.
Evan and Kate are getting along well on another flight. She's flirting with him openly but it's not clear how interested he is.
Charmaine tells Tara that Beverly is stull upset about Tara "shunning" her. Beverly sneaks over from Charmaine's and Alice immediately arrives. Alice tells Beverly that her mistake was not always acting out of love and tells "I have eyes everywhere."
Tara tells Hattarras that Alice went on to say to Beverly that she was going to protect Cassandra from her. She loves it. Hattarras thinks she's still not dealing with the "hard things," like husband and kids.
Marshall and Noah watch the videos they found downstairs. It is Max and Tara interacting in an incredibly normal, loving way.
Beverly is uncomfortable at a lactation-focused store. Beverly doesn't like any of the options and eventually admits that her husband has gotten worse and she's put Frank into a "very expense" home. She admits she used them to see the baby but has no money to help them.
Max comes downstairs and tells Marshall how crazy things were during those times. He says he loved Tara.
Kate tells Tara she's worried she's lost something, looks-wise. She no longer feels hot since Evan hasn't asked her out. She likes him and he makes he laugh. Tara tells both Kate and Marshall (who comes in with his camera running) that she had to ask Max out. She suggests Kate make the first move with Evan.
Neil is taking the job with his brother and will be gone for two months. He hints again abut them getting married.
Hattarras tell Tara she's not seven different people, "you're just you." He says he has different components of his personality. She mentions the positives that have come from the contract with the alters. Hattarras says that Tara is the only one in control and it has always been that way.
Buck walks over to Beverly's bedside, turning into Tara when Beverly wakes up. Beverly says she's "so sorry" and tells Tara she's trying to change, despite now being alone. Tara makes Beverly a deal: If her mother ever has anything to say she will listen as herself.
After the next flight Kate puts herself out there, asking Evan if he wants to have dinner with her that night. He says he's busy and she suggests some other night. He turns her down again.
Max meets Tara after her last meeting with Hattarras. The couple walks over to a bonfire and starts to kiss.
Marshall says to Noah about their movie: "It's not a monster movie; it's not a dysfunctional family. It's a love story."
We cut to Hattarras reviewing his audio takes from the last meeting with Tara. We hear him says "You're not Tara, are you?" This is followed by Tara's voice (it's not clear whether it's an alter) saying "You will not win." Hattarras asks her to repeat what she said and she again says "You will not win."
