A lot has changed in Johnny Weir's life since he taped the second season of his reality show for Logo. He's returned to competitive skating and strictly monitoring his diet. He's also now a happily married man and finally enjoying going to practice. But the more his life changes, the more his unique style stays the same.
"The show is all about me trying to find my life as a normal person. I have been a figure skater for so long that when I stopped that competitive day-to-day grind, I didn’t know what to do with myself," Weir said. "I don’t know how the world works outside being barked at by a Ukrainian woman and watching my weight.”
After wrapping up taping for season two of "Be Good Johnny Weir," he's already back in training, preparing for the next Olympics.

Fall is a hopeful time for TV viewers. Every new show is an unknown, save for a handful of promos and publicity photos and we're waiting to find out if the show lives up to the promise of a great idea or... withers away to inspire case studies of failure analysis.
There are few obvious trends this year. The New Normal and Partners both feature a gay couple among its lead characters while Arrow and 666 Park Avenue try to capture the Occupy Wall Street zeitgeist that helped make Revenge a hit. But overall, this fall lacks the "me too" quality that so often characterizes a TV season.
The one trend that does stand out this season are strong ideas that don't quite meet their potential in the pilot. Vegas, Last Resort, 666 Park Avenue and The Mindy Project are some of the pilots that left critics hoping that later episodes fix the rough spots.

More New Year's wedding news!Skating champion turned reality star Johnny Weir wed his boyfriend Victor Voronov on December 31."I'm married!" the flamboyant star, known for his unique style and love of handbags, tweeted. When asked by former "Real Housewives" star Jill Zarin why no wedding, Johnny replied "Wedding in summer! But all the official stuff is done now! No more livin' in sin!"A three-time U.S. figure skating champion and 2-time Olympian, Johnny publicly came out in January of 2011 after much media speculation about his sexuality. His reason, in part, for coming out was the string of suicides among gay teens and the release of his autobiography. He is the star of his own reality series "Be Good Johnny Weir" and served as a judge on the "DWTS" spin-off "Skating With the Stars." Johnny has not ruled out a run for a spot on the 2014 Olympic team, but is sitting this season out.

Johnny Weir
When Johnny Weir first came into the national spotlight as a figure skater, he'd often answer questions about his sexuality with, "It's not part of my sport and it's private. I can sleep with whomever I choose and it doesn't affect what I'm doing on the ice."
But since he came out in 2011 and began starring in Logo's Be Good Johnny Weir, he's become much more outspoken about queer issues.
Most recently he spoke out against the recent naming of anti-gay, Prop 8 supporter Peter Vidmar as the U.S. Olympic liaison for the International Olympic Committee and London games organizers. The U.S. Olympic Committee stands by Vidmar despite his $2,000 donation and public protest in favor of California's Prop 8 saying, "We respect Peter’s right to religious freedom, and we understand and respect he fact that many Americans do not share his views… Peter is a tireless advocate...

Competition for the lead role in Gary Ross' dystopian nightmare "Hunger Games" is fierce, with nearly every big-name actress under 25 throwing her hat in the ring -- we've heard conflicting reports that Oscar nominees Jennifer Lawrence and Hailee Steinfeld, "Little Miss Sunshine" Abigail Breslin and Chloe "Hit-Girl" Moretz are each the current favorite for the part of Katniss Everdeen.
While Lionsgate tells Entertainment Weekly that, despite all the buzz, "there are no frontrunners at this point," we're nearly out of time to make our own suggestions. With "Breaking Dawn" casting director Debra Zane hard at work and a release date only a year away, an official Katniss must be coming in short order, so we've got to make our casting wishlist while the wishing's still good.
May the odds be ever in our favor.

Designer Richie Rich is always known for doing something a little out of the box, and this year he thought of having a near-nude Johnny Weir and "Jersey Shore" star Jenni "JWoww" Farley in sheer.
They both walked the runway for Richie Rich's much talked-about fashion show for New York Fashion Week 2011 at the Hammerstein Ballroom. The collection, titled Villionaire, mixed Richie's eccentric style with Marie-Antoinette-inspired and vaudevillian looks.
JWoww, of course, stepped out with no bra in a black sequined sheer dress. The dress, paired with some towering heels, allowed the sexy reality star to show off all her assets and then some.
Johnny Weir, a reality star himself with "Be Good Johnny Weir," stepped out in just a Tarzan-style skirt and plenty of glitter.

Each year we are saddened when some of our favorite TV shows go off the air and we feel as though we've lost a friend. But as the cycle of TV life goes, new shows come to replace them, introducing us to different characters and bringing us unknown playmates. 2010 was a good year for new friends. Here's our list of our latest favorite TV personalities (real and fake).
10. Madhuri from Outsourced
We admit it. We didn't get Outsourced the first few times we watched it. We thought it was trying a bit too hard and felt a little forced. We also didn't latch on to any of the characters. But over time the show has found its groove and we are starting to relate to the personalities. And we are especially developing a real soft spot for Madhuri (played by Anisha Nagarajan) who is so shy she can't be heard.

They make great money, have limited responsibility other than being heightened versions of themselves and get to enjoy the wonders of television infamy — so why are these ten reality stars such divas?
Some television stars are paid money to reenact emotionally devastating scenes or gruesome situations, and then there are the ones who are paid to sit around and drink, whine and judge. Whereas America used to tune into the fun loving cast of Friends, we now have the cast of the Jersey Shore, who decided they needed to be making at least $30,000 an episode to drunkenly embarrass themselves. Or Kate Gosselin, who, well, she’s just always straight up difficult. Take a look at our top ten reality divas of 2010 and vote on the biggest!
Kate Gosselin: She may be the mother of eight children, but this loud ball of complaints almost always behaves as if she is the youngest.

Bravo's Boy Meets Boy was ahead of its time. The 2003 dating reality show, which had confirmed bachelor James Getzlaff choose between a bevy of available men (some of whom were secretly straight), was one of the first shows specifically geared towards the personal and romantic lives of gay men.

Alas, Bmb didn’t exactly burn up the airwaves and its first season was its one and only. Nor did it set off a stampede of similarly themed programming.
Nonetheless, reality TV has always had at least a hint of gay. Even the first reality show, An American Family, also gave us Lance Loud, the first openly gay person on television, . And Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, the flagship that led Bravo into a new age of gayness and popularity, not only helped make gay judges and “experts” a staple of competitive reality TV,...

Quel horreur! Ice diva/possible future Dancing With the Stars contestant Johnny Weir will be taking a competitive break from ice skating. At least for 2010-11 season. The reason? Weir wants a year to “explore and reinvent as an athlete and artist.” In his time off the ice, Weir will focus on new projects like his new single Dirty Love, a fashion line, and his memoirs. He’ll also be filming season two of his Sundance Channel reality series Be Good Johnny Weir.
Even though he’ll be working on many new projects, Weir definitely won’t disappear from the ice completely.

If anyone can pick a pop culture winner it's the gays, right? Tonight at 10:00pm the Logo channel (our parent company) is airing the 2010 NewNowNext Awards. For those few people left on the planet who aren't familiar with them, these awards are about finding today what will be trending tomorrow. While other awards honor those who have already made it, Nnn Awards sets its sights on brink of fame up-and-comers who are just beginning to be buzzed about.
Logo's Nnn Awards have earned a reputation for calling the trends long before they hit the mainstream. Lady Gaga gave her first televised performance here, a year before she won at the VMAs and wowed the world. True Blood was showered with kudos long before it won an Emmy. And Twilight was nominated for an Nnn Award before it even hit the silver screen.

It seems Johnny Weir has become besties with former Dancing With the Stars pro Karina Smirnoff, and now they’re both angling to pair up for season 11. “I met a few weeks ago and she was like, ‘Johnny, you are the perfect height for me. Let’s dance,’” Weir said. “So…it’s on. I’ve chosen my partner, I’m ready.” If only it were that easy! At least Weir’s casting would set back into ice one of the show’s most basic, inalienable tenets, which ABC shamefully disregarded at the end of season 10: Thy Figure Skater Shall Win.
