become yourself
Kirpianuscus10 June 2023
A young woman , from South Africa, becomes , at London, after a providential meeting, a photo model. Her past, painful, around the conflict with her mother and rape seems the basic obstacle to happiness.

But it is more.

The film is defined by two significant virtues.

The first- the eyes, the look and the performance of Isaura Barbe Brown.

The second- the gentle - precise storytelling.

The result is not exactly a portrait, so realistic, of status of a young girl or about the opportunity as cure ogf humiliation, punishment and forbidden love, but eulogy of courage to become yourself. In short, admirable work.
