When the first aircraft is seen, the Cessna 207A N6255H, it is shown flying by a moderate amount of clouds at a somewhat low altitude. The next couple of scenes show the skydive and Leao and Ivana after landing. It now shows a perfectly clear sky.
During the climb to altitude in the Cessna to go skydiving, an outside shot of the airport is shown from what appears to be at an altitude of five or six thousand feet. A couple of seconds later the airport is shown again and the airport is now twelve or thirteen thousand feet below.
There is a shot of a blue and white, 1978 Cessna 207A, N6255H, shown in flight. The next shot shows Leao and Ivana in the open doorway of an aircraft hooked up together to make a tandem skydive. The aircraft has suddenly changed from the 7-passenger Cessna 207 to a four-place Cessna 180 Skywagon (you can see the identifying 180 emblem just to the left of the open door.
The Cessna 207A initially shown in-flight turns into a Cessna 180 and then becomes a much larger single-engine aircraft with twin vertical rudders. So - from cruise to exit, three completely different aircraft types are shown.
Ivana accidentally drops her phone into the dog's water bowl, at which point the phone fails and the screen goes dark. A short while later while sitting with Leao, Ivana's phone suddenly pops back to life with an incoming call. Ivana is seen removing the phone from a bowl of rice, apparently to try and "dry it out." The use of a container of rice to dry out a phone that has been submerged in water is a proven fallacy, as you must also immediately open up the phone, remove the battery, and perform a number of other steps to get the internal components dried out. Even then, it is unlikely that the phone will resume its function.
While in the door of the aircraft, while in freefall, and while under canopy, Ivana's harness is not connected to Leao's harness at the shoulder snaps to where it should be on Leao's harness just below the three-ring device. In addition, Leao's left riser is slack, even though it would be supporting half of the 300 or more pounds suspended from it. The riser should be taut.
The movie is made using a number of techniques to make the actor portraying Leao, who is of average height in real life, appear very short. During the close-ups with Ivana and others, Leao's hands and head are of the appropriate size for a normal-sized man, but are much too large for a small man. When shown from a distance, Leao's hands and his head are much smaller than the other actors and are now appropriate for a small man. This is very apparent during the fight with Danilo.
When Ivana and Leao are shown in the harness after deploying the parachute, the risers are shown going off at about a 45-degree angle on both sides, and there is no slider present (the slider slows down the canopy opening sequence and ends up at the top of the risers) The risers should be going up at a ten or fifteen-degree angle to be correct.
At the club when Leao is playing the upright bass, his finger movements on the bass do not match the notes heard being played.
Leao's daughter, Manu, serves Leao a sandwich which he proclaims is "Ham, Cheese, and salami." When he bites into the soft-bunned sandwich, a loud crunch is heard, even though the sandwich is made up entirely of soft foods.
The first aircraft shown, a Cessna 207A with the US registration number N6255H, is shown to be flying above hilly terrain that contains pine trees of a variety that would not be found down near Sao Paulo or in Brazil. N6255H is registered and operated in Alaska, where pine trees of this sort are native and are very common to the area.
Ivana is enlisted to perform the wedding ceremony after one of the wedding party states "You're a lawyer. Come with me!"
Simply being an attorney does not entitle one to perform wedding ceremonies. One must be a recognized and licensed wedding officiant to do so.
After Adolfo passes gas, a bystander states "I did warn you about that fried catfish." Adolfo's wife Marcia had previously stated to Ivana while they were driving in the car that Adolfo was a vegetarian. Vegetarians do not eat fish, but pescatarians do. Thus, Adolfo must be a pescatarian and not a vegetarian.
