As a huge fan of Celia from such shows as her own creation Rosehaven, Love Me and Have You Been paying attention to name I few, I tuned to watch her stand-up comedy show with some trepidation. I enjoy comedies, but I don't tend to find stand-up comedy that funny or entertaining. This turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Not all the jokes worked and there were some cringe moments, but Celia's lovely and friendly personality shone through and her life stories (whether they were true or not) were very entertaining. Being about to tell jokes and entertain for almost an hour would be a huge challenge for most people, but Celia pulls it off in spades.
