"Seine Mutter und ich" tells the story of a young woman who moves in a house with her often absent husband and his omnipresent mother. Soon she begins to become unhappy with the situation and has to foght fot her freedom.
There are a few elements of the film that one could have focused on, like the loneliness of the mother etc. Instead, the film is a mixture of stereotypical and exaggerated characters, the look, charme and script of long lost decades and odd plot choices like a divorced woman living with her former mother in law and a kid killing an old lady and being more or less openly celebrated for it. Maybe I'm around sixty years too young for this movie but this can't honestly be the best possible version of this story.
All in all this is unfortunately your typical low-budget tv production with both predictable plot and outdated humor. Not my cup of tea.
