Crys is distinguished by his blonde dyed hair. Jesse has a large Republic cog on his helmet and tattooed across his face. Hardcase's helmets has broken stripes along it, and though his unhelmeted face is not seen in the episode, he has similar tattoos as well. There is a game of Dejarik (or holochess) played in this episode that had the same characters as the game played between R2-D2 and Chewie on the Millenium Falcon in Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977).
The parentage of Suu and Cut's children is not established on screen. The children are visibly not fully Twi'lek, and may be part human, which could point to Cut being their biological father. Due to their ages, many assume there is no way Cut could be their father, as he would have only deserted the Republic army a year or two prior to these events and the children appear to be somewhere between the ages of 4-8. However, clone troopers age rapidly, to make them combat-ready faster. It is possible Cut could be the father and his children inherited this manufactured genetic trait, causing them to appear older than they chronologically are.
One of the early script concepts included General Grievous riding a Reek throughout the episode.
The 'Jedi fortune cookie' message that opens the show reads "It is the quest for honor that makes one honorable."
