“Maybe some of the best BBQ of any season yet!” Myron Mixon (pictured) told us that when we asked him what to expect from the new season of Destination America’s hit competition series BBQ Pitmasters, which begins April 12. Hollywood tends to turn even the nicest people into divas. That is so not the case with 'BBQ Pitmasters'' resident king of the 'cue Myron Mixon.
Case in point: While taping the show's second season in L.A., I was invited to hang out with Myron ... at Roscoe's Chicken & Waffles of all places. With the scent of maple syrup wafting through the air, a table full of fried meats and livers and all the fixings and, of course, a camera, I got the scoop on this season's competition (Thursdays, 10Pm Et on Tlc) and big $100,000 prize.
Myron has turned in his tongs for a seat at the judges' table this year alongside chef Art Smith and Warren Sapp. He's also on Twitter (@Lord_of_Q -- you can blame the sporadic tweets on my less than stellar training session), but don't...

This week, the show is chock full of song and dance numbers and a few laughs, all smothered in barbecue sauce and served up hot.
Love Brittany on 'Glee'? So do the show's creators -- they even compare her skills to one of the most famous actresses in the world. And is it really a great day at Jeff Lewis' office? The Ocd man behind the interior design empire gives me the scoop on the new season of 'Flipping Out' and America's favorite housekeeper Zoila.
I also get a preview of the big 'Last Comic Standing' finale from judge and comedienne Natasha Leggero, and get the skinny on new 'BBQ Pitmasters' judges Warren Sapp and Art Smith from the master himself, Myron Mixon.

Tlc's BBQ Pitmasters, season finale is a true Texas showdown when the Godfather of Ribs, Johnny Trigg, challenges his closest friends and fiercest rivals to compete in an all-rib Shootout. For the first time ever, the cookers watch the judges reactions, both good and shockingly bad. Tonight, Thursday, Feb. 4 at 10pm / 9c - on Tlc's BBQ Pitmasters, Season Finale. From Tlc: A BBQ Side Dish you can make for Super Bowl Sunday: Surprise Slaw (No Mayo!) A barbecue can feel incomplete without coleslaw. While there are many regional varieties of this favorite side dish, most have two things in common: cabbage and vinegar. Surprise Slaw is no exception. But more unusual ingredients include sunflower...
