Later, Sofía's reencounter with Marito, the boy from the bike accident years ago, brings to light an extortion plot between Santos, the boy's father, and Andrés. Sofía turns to her family's political contacts to secure Limbo's property permit. Lucrecia opposes using the image of her father wearing makeup - taken from the cassettes - for the new campaign; Sofía, meanwhile, suspects that the cassettes may be hiding something else... something related to the night of her accident. After Perla is brutally beaten, Sofía encourages her to appear without makeup, thus exposing her bruises, for Limbo's photo shoot. Later, Sofía is reunited with Marito, the boy that was injured in the bike accident she and Andrés had years ago; their encounter exposes a secret plot of extortion involving his father, Santos, and Andrés. Limbo's launch is applauded for its powerful emotional and social messaging. Andrés is outraged with Sofía for rehashing old wounds and promises to take matters into his own hands.
