Rosa Luxemburg (5th of March 1871 - 15th of January 1919) was a naturalised-German revolutionary socialist, Marxist philosopher and anti-war activist. Known for her role within the Spartacus League [Spartakusbund], along with Karl Liebknecht (13th of August 1871 - 15th of January 1919), and the Communist Party of Germany (KPD). Both were assassinated on order of the German Chancellor and SPD leader Friedrich Ebert Sr..
Felix Dzerzhinsky was a member of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union (CPSU). Born on the 11th of September [Old Style: 30th of August] 1877 and died on the 20th of July 1926, a Bolshevik revolutionary who led the first two Soviet state-security organizations, the Cheka and the OGPU, establishing a secret police force for the post-revolutionary Soviet regime. Being one of the architects of the Red Terror and decossackization [repressions against Cossacks of the Russian Empire].
